Love, such a fickle thing.
For years, Eunhee was so ashamed, she didn't know what to do. Everywhere she turned, there was always someone that looked down on her.
For her half-breed heritage.
All because her mother a faerie, fell in love with a human man.
She had never met her father, but she had heard stories of his heart and kindness. Even how he loved her mother.
But after she had to given birth to her, her mother had started to wane, her life force had been depleted when giving birth to her. The half-breed.
Soon, her mother had left her and she was alone in the world.
No one wanted her, not until she found a friend in a young boy. A male faerie.
He treated her with kindness and showed her that not everyone cared about status.
But she still didn't belong to that world.
At the age of 17, she decided to enroll herself in the local school and grew up learning mundane things. Human history, math, science, English.
She kept to herself knowing that she couldn't use her magic in school, for fear of being captured by them. She kept a part of herself hidden in that world too.
Still searching for a place to belong, she found that humans were more trouble than faeries were.
A human male was always known for getting into trouble and doing bad things. But all the human females fell for him.
Eunhee just couldn't see why.
Until he decided to befriend her.
Just her.
And soon, after being invisible in both worlds for so long, Eunhee was at the center of attention of each.
With one foot standing on each side, when it comes down to it...
What side would she choose?

This is the combination of my ideas and fashionchik91 (Momo unni) on a collab fic on rocketboxx. I added a few things of my own but the original idea of "Elemental" was from Momo unni. :)

Foreword
"You don't belong there, Eunhee." He told her.
"I don't belong here either, Jinyoung. Have you seen the way people look at me? None of them accept me. Only you do." She argued with him.
"But that doesn't mean they won't ever accept you. Just give it time, they'll come around," he coaxed gently, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close.
"It's been 10 years, Jinyoung. How much more time do they need?" She cried into his chest as she felt his energy relax her a bit. He was always so good at that, his natural caring for others made Eunhee question if he was too good to be true.
"Don't worry about them. I promise I'll take care of it," Jinyoung assured her.

"You belong with me." He said, holding her in his arms possessively. They laid together on a blanket underneath the stars, this was what they usually did when they went out. Daeryong was surprisingly a hopeless romantic and enjoyed looking at the stars with her.
"You don't know everything about me. You might not say that once you know." Eunhee said softly, drawing circles on his chest with her finger.
He tilted her chin up to look at him, "You keep saying that. But how will I ever know if you don't tell me?" He asked her.
"I'm not ready." She told him.
If she fell for a human too, then her child would have just as much hardship as she did. He would be a half-breed as well, the faerie blood didn't decrease when mating, any child she had and every generation after that would always be a half-breed if she mated with a human.
And she didn't know if she was ready to submit him to that.
Daeryong sighed, she knew it frustrated him when she stonewalled him, but he didn't stop being patient. In fact, he had waited before doing anything with her, he didn't want to scare her away he had said.
"You'll have to tell me one day, Eunhee." He said to her.
"I know."

"You filthy little ," Soyeon spat at her.
"Hello to you too, Soyeon." She greeted politely.
"What the are you doing with Daeryong? You clearly already have someone in your life. Stop touching what belongs to me." Soyeon snapped at her.
That got to her and something inside of her snapped, she stepped right up to Soyeon, "First off, it's Daeryong's choice to hang out with me, always has been. Second, if he was really "yours" then why does he always want to hang out with me? And third, I don't already have someone. I'm caught in the middle of a crisis that you know nothing about and you'll never know anything about it so back the off and get your little prissy princess away from me." Eunhee said to her.
Soyeon stood there stunned, no one had ever given her attitude before, "You'll regret this, Kim Eunhee." She threatened before walking off.
