[ 04: SCHOOL OF THE DAME ]

[ CA-23 ]
[13.03.2015]
"So Han school's built around the year 1988, which makes it pretty old. The current principal is Kim Yishik, and the highschool has been ranked as one of the top elite school with high criteria and houses around... 200 girl students? And obviously, Kim Miyeon and Kim Rohee both went here." Hani scrolled down her phone. The digital clock was showing the time nearing eleven.

"Are those just general things? I felt like you should kept some of the information, noona." Jisung said, leaning closer to read some of the information.

"These things are general things that Iseul sent and directly from their website," Wooyoung shrugged. "but yeah, keep them close."

Hani's ears perked up as the car skidded into a halt. Pushing herself out from the window, she saw the school; metal fences surrounded them with matted black colour, two big buildings with dark grey layout and several large windows with an outer dark brown colour.

"We're here... finally." Wooyoung said, letting his grip on the stirring wheel lose. Both Hani and Jisung turned their heads to see only a part of the grey-coloured building on one side; when Jisung scurried closer and saw several young figures with dark brown buttoned cardigans and checkered skirts; he looked hopefully at Wooyoung.

"What's the plan here?"

"Kidding me, right." Jisung said. He tilted his head as he clipped in an earpiece; the young boy turned his head to the left; farther than him, he saw a couple was walking inside. He sighed aloud. Turning on his earpiece, he heard buzzes of the outside air; unlike the dampening boredom that is the café.

Wooyoung quietly took off his earpiece and grabbed Hani's arms closer with him, causing the younger girl to look away. She saw Jisung's retreating figure shifting at the very corner of her eye; right in front a cafè with red brick walls. She couldn't help but shake her head as she took off her own.

"Just play along," Wooyoung mouthed, their feets going closer towards the building. "I called Sejoon for help."

"Yeah," Hani said, wriggling her left hand out of Wooyoung's reach. "but this is too much. Jisung wasn't even involved in here."

"He doesn't have enough evidences to be detained or interrogated," Wooyoung whispered. "but the fact that we may have better datas here and four reports can be pretty suspecting. Also, having him with us will raise suspicions."

Hani stopped walking, and looked at him incredulously. A small grumble under her breath, shaking her head with a disappointed face. Wooyoung raised one of his eyebrows, yet Hani only shook her head, "If that's so, let's get walking. What are we trying to do here, again?"

"Get Rohee's datas, get the wire, and then reach out to Jisung."

Hani kept mum and hurriedly followed Wooyoung's steps towards the school. As they passed the school's frontyard, Hani tightly let her grip on the tiny, sticky, transparent plastic sheet. Passing the white CCTV cameras next to her felt like nothing on the gadgets Iseul had them using.

Hani glanced towards the placard with the words, 'Administration Room'. She slowly walked into the , Hani saw the man both had seen too frequently to remember the thick black glasses just a few metres in front of  both of them. They were stunned, and Hani couldn't help but felt the reality hitting her.

"May I help you?" A sudden, demanding tone broke her train of thought. She and Wooyoung turned away with a surprise; Hani bit her lips.

"Oh no, we were just planning to get a brochure on the procedures for our daughter's application." Wooyoung said. Hani was shooting daggers at Wooyoung's back, but said nothing. The middle-aged woman hardened her stare, yet immediately, her gaze returned to the computer just in front of her.

"Well, for what I could also help you?" a warm voice resonated. Wooyoung raised his eyebrows for a split second; just in front of the strict woman's table, a man with pulled back hair and thick-rimmed glasses was smiling back at them. The agent glanced at the latter for a moment; his spine was tingling and he couldn't help but frown.

"Are you principal Kim Yishik?" Wooyoung asked.

"I am," Kim Yishik smiled at him, rising up to shake Wooyoung's hands. The latter passed the chip again to her; Hani bit her lips, and placed the paper-like sheet at the back of her wrist. As she followed Wooyoung suit, she saw papers compiled neatly near a black folder with 'Principal' written on the front. "and you are? What kind of help you may also want?"

"Well, my name is Jung Taekwoon and this is Lee Sungkyung—we just want the brochure. That's all." The older woman eyed both Hani and Wooyoung suspiciously—but as she placed down the folded piece of paper slightly above the folder, Hani pressed her lips into a firm thin line.

"Is that all?" Wooyoung nodded, but Hani couldn't help but feel anxious.

"Yes," the younger man nodded. Yishik was about to open his mouth, and yet just at the moment, a strong vibration had the three of them turning. "I apologize."

By the time Wooyoung figured out a word to say, the man already left to the front door. The old lady was typing in her computer, and Wooyoung only looked upon Hani.

However, Wooyoung's face didn't mirror Hani's. The latter was smiling as she gently walked towards the desk; the older woman was busy, and just as she picked the folded paper, the sticky 'wire' slipped under the black folder.

"Ah, thank  you very much." Hani respectfully bowed, but she could feel her feet ran cold. She didn't turn as she walked back towards Wooyoung. The latter looked up and also bowed, his feet shuffling away from the cold room.

"You got it?" Wooyoung whispered. Hani only nodded, holding Wooyoung's arm as they walked out to the green courtyard.

When the two entered the café, Hani noticed a figure was sitting next to Jisung, enticed in a conversation. There was a dark beverage and a small black device in front of them, and the figure's grey sweater became slightly familiar; a certain Nam Sejoon was wearing the same thing in the morning.

"You came here alone?" Wooyoung asked as they sat down across the young boys.

"Kind of," Sejoon said, resting his chin atop of his hand. Hani locked her eyes with the ticking clock; the longer needle leaned closer to number twelve, and then at Sejoon, who was only a few centimetres farther than her. "Joo and Hyerin are at the back of this block, watching a student from Han."

"Why?" Wooyoung turned to Sejoon. His tone remained flat, yet Hani noticed the tension as the elder leaned closer.

"When you asked me to come, Jisung asked the other two too," Sejoon said, but when Hani turned to the left, Jisung was closing his eyes. "He had visions about this."

"What kind of vision?" Wooyoung asked, tightening his black overcoat. Next to him, Jisung widened his eyes, looking at the three with worry.

"Jisung?" Hani turned around to see the almost quiet café; it looked more unsettling when Jisung nearly jolted up.

"I think they found one of the girls who made the report."

"So when exactly is the capture?" Hani was out, slowly walking with Sejoon in front and Wooyoung and Jisung waiting just a few metres outside the café, their earpieces connected to Hyosung. Hani's sharp ears caught murmurs; one of a conversation.

"Probably a few minutes from now," Sejoon said, scooting closer to the edges. He witnessed a girl, her brown cardigan rolled up and skirt centimetres shorter than its normal length. She was talking, but her body was closer to the walls as they talked. In front of her, a much taller male was yelling; he wore an ed school shirt and had his hair uncut and with hands shoved in his pockets. He struck Sejoon as a terror, but with defined muscles and being metres farther than what the agents expected, he could only wait.

"We can't just go and take our chances, Sejoon. Jookyung and Hyerin were on the closer side too." Hani said. However, as minutes passed by, the chat turned into a one-sided quarrel; the guy's voice was much louder and Sejoon or Hani had a hard time keeping tune with the girl's.

"Ugh," Sejoon muttered. His feet were shuffling closer towards the large corridor; it was Hani who grabbed his grey sweater before Sejoon suddenly made a sudden bolt.

"Lupin!" Hani hissed. Left hand still firm in Sejoon's sweater,  she made her run before the older guy completely stopped.

"What happened?"

Hani peeked from Sejoon's back to find the arguing boy's face planted to the floor and hands tied up by drawstring jacket; the girl had her hands clutched by Hyerin. And she would find the situation more amusing if their mission wasn't as half serious.

"What happened?" Sejoon repeated, slowly. Hyerin looked up to him, but immediately turned to Jookyung for help.

"She's the one in the report." Jookyung said, rising up. Below him, the captured teen grunted, causing the held girl to wince. Jookyung glared at him, and after a moment of mumbling incoherent sentences, he looked away.

Hyerin turned towards the girl, loosening her grip on her, "What's your name?"

"Kim Sora." she said.

"Sora," Sejoon said, pointing towards the guy on the floor. "how did you know about... him?"

"His name is Son Jinwook," Sora said, and Sejoon noticed a small quiver escaped her lips. "he was the new guy from a neighboring school."

Before Sejoon could answer again, he heard a small buzz coming from his earpiece.

"Everyone," Hyosung said. "it's better that all of you found a better place to settle."

"I'm very confused." Iseul said.

"Unfortunately, you are not the only one," Hyosung sighed, straightening her blouse. "at this point, I'm afraid we're gaining too much freedom for these kinds of things to happen."

Iseul didn't say anything either; she turned back to her laptop in bed, but something was caught by her eyes; behind Hani, there was a blur. She couldn't see it; however,  the frame returned clear after a few seconds. She turned towards Hyosung, who was pacing back and forth, then back to the laptop screen. She grimaced.

Chapter 66: Oof I came back after taking a long hiatus for the sake of my mental health (aaand forgetting my password in the mean time :'D) as always, I love your updates and your writing is very special in a way, like it's not meant to be understood by everyone yet that's what keeps me going. (I'm Jisung's applicant, btw)

So sorry for the inactivity! I'm kinda interested in reapplying for the other team.

Chapter 66: It's cool to see all the boys interact with each other and Jisung is such a kid xD I love it. I also like the cool thing about his dad having similar powers!! That was really interesting to read about. I'm excited to see what this new evidence of the case brings and how the new team will affect the story :D
