Summary: Eight year old Kyungsoo has a very busy life. Every weekday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., he attends primary school and after that, extra classes in Math and English (though he chose the last one, it’s still very tiring). When he comes home there is always tons of homework to do meaning he almost doesn’t have time to play. On Saturday mornings he has swimming classes and in the afternoons music lessons (he too chose those, well not really the swimming, that was his doctor’s advice but he still likes it).
Thus this only really leaves Sundays to play and Kyungsoo makes the most out of all of them usually spending all afternoon in the park in front of his apartment complex. He has lots of friends there and everyone cherishes him because (and he doesn’t know why) he attracts all of the other children and they follow him as if he was their leader (not that he is complaining). Kyungsoo likes to take care of his friends though, making sure that everyone can play together and is happy.
That’s until a new boy appears at the park, Jongin is his name, without a family name, which leaves Kyungsoo very confused. He doesn’t look very clean and is so, so skinny. But however and as a good leader Kyungsoo tries to include Jongin in their games. The only problem is that the other kids don’t approve, still Kyungsoo is determined to set a good example and take care of all of his subordinates (friends).
