A spin-off short story based upon arcenciel's fiction, Asimov's Laws: Titanium, written with their permission. This is my personal take on the process and reasons why Professor Jung created the robot, Taeyeon.

Foreword

All of the credit for the basis of the story goes to arcenciel, who was gracious enough to let me write a spin-off of their story.

The premise of this one-shot is set before the Robopocalypse, ergo, pre-story.

Before you read, please remember that this is an alternative universe to that of arcenciel's story, as it is my interpretation of Taeyeon's character, his genesis, as well as his relation to Professor Jung and Jessica.

Chapter 5: Attempts Taeng the robot makes on trying to become human is interesting to read. I wonder if human philosophy and robots are even compatible?

Chapter 5: Adapting to human life will be hard for Taeng whom is not human. It makes me all the more curious for what will happen later.

Chapter 5: Seeing as Taeyeon has been programmed to be as 'human' as possible, I think it would be interesting to see how Taeyeon would respond during a mature scenario as it would function more 'like a robot' than as a human. Can't wait for more!

Chapter 5: I can't imagine what our future would be like if a robot like Taeyeon truly could exist. This fic is really interesting, especially this chapter. It made me think about what morality really is... like does Taeyeon really have morals or understand morals just because Dr. Jung has put the notion into him? It makes me want to see a scenario where Taeyeon and its response morality is shown to us readers. Great update!

Chapter 5: I like that we get to see the process of Taeyeon becoming like a human. After reading this chapter I really begin to wonder if being able to act like something or someone means that you have really become that something or someone. It's like Taeyeon is a human but we know he isn't. Thanks for the update!
