Bolting upright in bed, you snuck a glance in the spot beside you. TOP still asleep, you slid silently out of bed, tiptoed out of the room, and slipped out the door, shutting it silently behind you.

  Skipping to the kitchen to prepare his cake, a sleepy-eyed JiYong shuffled past you. 

  "Why are you awake this early?" You asked, surprised.

  "I'm decorating for Hyung's surprise party." He mumbled, rubbing his eyes.

  "Oh, is someone going to help you?"

  "No, I don't need help." He silently watched you pull the premade cake from the fridge and wandered over. 

  "What are you doing?"

  "Finshing his cake."

  "I bet you 20,000 won I can get a hug from Hyung first."

  "Why is this a bet?" You asked.

  "Because I'm sure I can decorate the living room better than you can that cake." He nodded to your blank canvas on the counter.

  "Oh you are so on." You smiled evily and shook hands.

  "How long do we have until he wakes up?" He asked, backing away.

  "Less than an hour." You replied, looking at the clock on the stove.

  "It's on!" Turning around, he bolted for the living room.

  Quickly gathering your materials, you set to work. Unknowing to the Dragon, you had a year of Pastry Chef training under your belt.

  Using the better half of 30 minutes, you perfected his cake. Layered in white fondant with a black ribbon on the bottom of each tier, you pasted edible pictures of TOP-oppa with all the members on the four sides of the bottom tier. Topping the cake was a picture of you, Melody, and all the members on the day you met Big Bang; one of TOP's favorites.

  Setting the cake on the coffee table in the living room, you looked around, amazed. GD had done an amazing amount of work in 40 minutes. A "Happy Birthday" banner was strung above the TV, seven party hats sat on the couch with balloons and confetti scattered all over the room. Having given GD our personal cards we wrote to TOP the day before, he placed those beside the cake. Standing to the side, he was admiring his own work.

  "Looks good." You noted, the room not too elaborate for a surprise a party at home.

  Walking over to your cake, JiYong pulled off a black bow and popped it in his mouth. 

  "Stop that!" You yelled, smacking his arm as hard as you could, surprise covering his face. 

  "What?! We're all going to be eating it later." He defended himself.

  "What are you two yelling about?" Melody asked from the doorway, just waking up.

  "He ruined my cake!" You yelled as you pointed at her boyfriend, your death glare locking with JiYong's mathcing one, neither of you willing to back down. 

  "Oppa! Happy Birthday!" Mel yelled, throwing her arms around a sleepy-eyed TOP who had shuffled into the room to investigate.

  "Thank you." He laughed when she latched onto his chest. 

  Wordlessly, you and JiYong turned your glares to TOP and Mel.

  "I'm not doing anything!" He insisted, raising his arms to prove that he wasn't holding onto her. Mel only laughed.

  Finally convincing Melody to let go, TOP walked over and hugged you tightly. 

  "The cake looks amazing, Care. It's beautiful." He laughed. "Even with a piece missing." 

  As he kissed the top of your head, you winked at JiYong and mouthed 'I won'.
