Irene's POV:- It's been a week since I moved in a new area in Busan. My mother rented an old rundown apartment on the outskirts of the city, in a very small town. Being a single parent now, my mother could not afford anything better than that. The apartment was really old, the paint and the wallpaper peeling off the wall, there was damp everywhere. A very little sunlight came inside the apartment and it was really gloomy inside. I didn't liked the apartment at all but never complained anything about it to my mother as i didn't want to upset her. We got the fifth floor to stay, which was divided into three apartment rooms, 5A, 5B & 5C. 5A was taken by us, while 5B was empty and didn't had any tenants yet and in 5C there lived an old woman who kept mostly to herself. Within a week, I was soon bored out of my mind. I didn't had anything interesting to do nor i made any friends in my new school to play with, so i either played on my own or watched TV which was even more boring. And not to mention the weekends which were like the worst for me when weekends were supposed to be enjoyed. Just like that, One normal Sunday, I was in my room finishing up the rest of my homework when my mother came into my room. ''Honey, please will you run some errands for me, I don't have much too make dinner tonight'' she said and handed me some money and a list of things to buy. ''But mom, the shop is ten minutes away from here and its already dark outside'' I whined. ''Just go, it isn't that far, otherwise no dinner tonight'' my mom said and left my room. I unwillingly got up from my study table, grabbed the money and left our apartment. As I was going down the stairs, I noticed a girl around my age on the 4th floor. I was surprised for a moment as there wasn't any girl around my age living in the apartment. I slowed my pace near her. Her gaze was fixated on the ground.
