There might be a new girl group from JYP Entertainment coming your way next month if reports are to be believed!

According to an exclusive by Sports Chosun, JYP Entertainment plans to launch a 9-member girl group made up by the ladies from the picture above!

If this is true, then this new group would mark the agency's first girl group following Miss A's debut back in 2010! According to what Sports Chosun has heard, the new group's concept will be different from other JYPEnt. girl-groups.

Apparently, this girls are somewhat special since according to rumors all of them have been trainees from other companies such as SM, YG, Starship, Woollim and MBK Entertainments! This is quite a strange move from a company like JYP, but if it is true, let them surprise us!

The members are said to be currently preparing for their debut, having already picked their title track and choreography as well as concept.

[Update!] - This rumor has turned out to be true! JYP Entertainment has confirmed that this new girl group is in the works. The agency told media outlets, "The new girl group is planning for a debut in January. We will reveal the exact date, concept, and such details at a later time... It is a new girl group that JYP Entertainment has put out in a while, so please look forward to them."

They also addressed the rumors of the origins from the trainees, "Yes, eight out of the nine members come from other companies, but they still trained over two years under JYP Entertainment for them to be taken in consideration for this girl-group. They underwent various auditions and testings to demonstrate their talent and succeeded every and each one of the tests. Please, do expect them." 

Is anyone excited? Or, is it just me?

 The JYP Headquarters were buzzing with excitement as they watched the reports on TV, read them on the internet, and listened to the rumors in the hallways. JYP had done a good job at keeping them a secret, so when the news broke out, everyone was surprised. Even artists from smaller branches had came to see the big reveal and they were all crowding around the lobby, between many trainees that did their best to keep distance, not wanting to offend their sunbaes in any way. 

The artists were forming a small crowd in the middle of the lobby, and in the middle of them, stood the legendary Wonder Girls, even Sohee had come to share the joy. Sunye held her baby, Hailey while some of the Got7 members made funny faces to the child, trying to make her smile. While the Miss A Chinese members were having a heated argument with Jackson over the correct pronunciation of a Korean word. The 2pm and 2am members stood in a smaller crowd, without any doubt the erted minds plotting against their soon-to-be-revealed hoobaes. Jo-Kwon was most excited above all, he now had more songs to cover and even more hoobaes to make fun of.

 The trainees were gossiping between each other, anxious to know if they knew any of the members of the new group. Some were beaming with excitement while others were sighing in sadness, wondering when that special day would come for them. They didn't wish to be misunderstood, they knew every single trainee worked as hard as them, but they couldn't help their feelings. Happiness was there but sadness overflowed them, they couldn't blame their fellow trainees for fulfilling their dreams first, yet they were just human. 

"1.2.3. We were promised a second chance and we promised to shine! Hello, we are Promise!" The girls bowed and held the bow for a few seconds, taking those seconds and saving them in their memories. They were holding hands as they straightened their backs and smiled once they saw their reflections in the mirror. She scanned each others eyes, small smiles on their lips and unshed tears in their eyes.

"This is it, girls." JYP spoke from behind them, a proud smile on his lips as he saw them turn and greet him with a bow. The happiness on their faces, he had seen it so many times before, he even had felt it himself. These nine girls, they hadn't been always under JYP but now, they were JYP Nation and the moment they walked out of that door and headed down to the lobby, and greeted their sunbaes, they would become JYP family. 

He had made a promise to the nine of them, they had made a promise to him. They were his promise.
