Chapter 1
Game PlanSeung Gi's POV
"All right, for the next song we have.." The voice trailed off as i lay myself down on the mat and switched off the radio.
I looked up into the starry sky and breathed in the fresh ocean air. Ahh.. refreshing...
But a rustling of leaves broke my thoughts. I got up and out of the tent in a split second and scanned my surroundings. I frowned. My parents should be back by now. Where were they?
I decided to follow the sound, and made my way towards the bushes. Suddenly, without warning, something- or rather, someone burst out of the bushes and landed on me. I struggled but its arms pinned me down securely, trapping me.
I tried to scream, but my voice was stuck in my throat, and nothing came out. I tried to get a good look at its face. It had a human face, but it was distorted into a hideous shape, its mouth wide with bulging fangs. I regretted looking at it immediately.
My mouth trembled at the sight, eyes darting from side to side, searching for a way out, but there was none. Its grip was too strong, and whatever it was, I prayed and prayed in my mind that it wouldn't hurt me.
But it did.
It clenched and unclenched its jaw, then came at my neck, its sharp canines biting into my soft skin.
A sharp pang of pain, then dampness around my neck.
My eyes stung as tears fell continuously down my face. The pain only hurt worse, and the more i struggled, the more unbearable it became.
Then i felt it. I could feel my voice forming in my throat, preparing to shout, scream-
And then a loud cry," Get away" came from the other end of the forest. It took me a second to realize it wasn't my voice.
Then a clatter of wood and a loud 'thud' sounded before i felt the pain ease. I tilted my head a little to the right, and that was when I saw it. My father. I had to warn him, tell him to run, anything. I wanted so badly to scream at him to run, but i couldn't. My body just wouldn't comply with my mind.
I saw my father go down at it with a long, heavy wooden stake-- but to my horror, when it slammed against the creature's body, it broke in half like nothing, and then the creature was lunging itself at him ..I saw blood everywhere, like it was World War II, and maybe it was.
I could do nothing but watch my mother helplessly charge at the creature, only to see more blood as it tore at her limbs.
No..
I tried to get up, placed one knee on the ground, but I guess I fainted as i found myself lying back down on the ground, watching two pathetic limp bodies lying on the ground on the far end of the forest.
And then the most terrible thing happened. The creature turned and caught my eye, its gaze penetrating through my skull. And then it was charging...
A flash of grey, then a growl.
I heaed a loud snapping
