Summary:
Krystal's goal in school had always been to stay invisible, but when she caught the attention of two of the most popular boys in her school, she no longer finds it easy to just hide behind her best friend. When a quiet new boy transfers into Krystal's high school, JB has finally found his new match in a competition for her heart, JB is the boy who has been in every one of Krystal's classes since they were in junior school, constantly making fun of her until he recently realized that he was in fact very much hopelessly in love with her. Mark is the quietly handsome boy who came to Korea in hopes of escaping his past, so broken within for a boy with such a perfect face. Foreword
Krystal Kim: The invisible girl of their High School, likes Music, Art and English. She always has her head in a book and her ears plugged with earphones. She is shy and oblivious to her surroundings but is constantly looking forward to her fairytale ending.
Mark Tuan: A damaged boy with a broken heart. His parents are divorced and halfway across the world from each other, after causing trouble in his old school, he returns to Korea to join his mother. He attends the same school as Krystal and with his heart broken by his parents he realizes that he still has the ability to love someone.
Im Jae Bum (JB): A boy with a temper that has constantly made fun of Krystal until he realized the reason he enjoyed it so much was because he was in love with her. He , just so he could hear her speak, he loved poking her, just so he could look at her face. He has fallen hard for her since junior school but it took sudden competition for him to realize his feelings.
Jackson Wang: Best friends with Krystal, a talkative and funny boy who gets along with everyone. Krystal's sheild, who she uses to hide behind when she wants to hide. Doesn't have romantic feelings towards Krystal and treats her like his own sister.
Bam Bam: One of their classmates who is friends with Jackson and Krystal. A cute and friendly boy who enjoys making people smile. A gossip king who is always first to know whatever happens in school.
Choi Youngjae: One of their classmates who is friends with JB, he teases Krystal jokingly as well and tries not to interfere with the class' problems.
Park Jin Young (Jr.): One of their classmates who originally was friends with JB but then befriends new boy Mark instead. Enjoys reading and is really smart.
Kim Yugyeom: One of their classmates who becomes friends with Mark. He is very shy but smiles a lot, makes people feel comfortable.
