The October instalment of the story of our 39-year old female protagonist, her issues with lack of personal achievement/fulfilment in life be it in her relationship with people around her, her stunted career, (absence of)love life, and her increasing frustration due to her age and relationship status that seem to be the root of her other problems. Until...she met a stranger one night while thinking of suicide, and another stranger the next morning. And her life and fate turned upside down in a way she'd never imagine.
Dearest Mother has had enough of her eldest daughter's lack of success in snagging a husband on her own, and thus, decide to use the best excuse ever to make her almost-fourty year old daughter to bow down to her undesirable matchmaking efforts - her special, 60th birthday present in the form of agreeing to a blind date, and even better, a marriage. Cuz why not? What could be a better present to ask for?
But will it really turn out to be the present that will leave all parties satisfied?
