One-Shots
Your phone rang signaling a new message and you opened it.
From: your cool roommate
‘Thanks ___, you’re amazing!’
You chuckled, shaking your head and put your phone away. You knew that even if you replied, no one would read it until morning.
A gush of cold wind made you shiver, reminding you that you were standing outside of your dorm. You adjusted your scarf and made your way to a local coffee shop that, lucky for you, opens 24 hours.
“Hey ___, the usual?” The barista, who was also the owner’s daughter, asked you as soon as you walked in.
“Yeah, and a sandwich. I haven’t had dinner yet.” You told her and she nodded.
“Right away” You looked around and smiled when you recognized a familiar face. “I’ll bring it to you when it’s ready.” The woman told you.
You approached one of the tables and sat down, making the current occupant look up from their notebook.
“Sure, go ahead and sit down.” She said with sarcasm.
“I will, thank you so much.” You bowed to her and she chuckled.
“Here you go.” The barista placed your order on the table. “Want a refill, Taeyeon?”
“Yes, please.” Taeyeon smiled at her as she refilled her cup of coffee.
“Let me know of you want anything else.” She told you both and you thanked her before she went back to the counter.
“I’m so hungry.” You said and took a bite of your sandwich. “Want some?” You offered her half.
“I’m good, thanks.” She told you and continued doing her work.
“Do you have a test or something?” You asked and sipped on your coffee.
“I’m doing as much work in advance as I can.” She explained.
“That’s smart.” She smiled.
“Don’t you have any work to do?” She asked, curious.
“I do, but I didn’t bring it with me.” She shook her head, smiling. “Not because I didn’t want to, it’s because I didn’t even have time to think before she kick me out.” Taeyeon chuckled. “She told me her bo
