Chanyeol grunted in annoyance, slipping his hand off his gun once he sees his target terminated yet again before he even had the chance to pull out his weapon. By now the party guests were screaming, wondering why their host was laying lifelessly on the floor in a pool of his own blood as Chanyeol made his way outside. He went completely unnoticed in the commotion that ensued as soon as someone else had seen the dead body, quickly ducking into his car. Turning on his bluetooth, he muttered a name, the person picking up on the second ring. "Chen, you said the party was exclusive. Tell me how on Earth did The Fox get to him before me... Again?"

"What? I don't understand, Cha- The Phoenix. The party was strictly labeled for the elites of the city only. I busted my trying to get you in there." Jongdae explained into the phone, making Chanyeol sigh as he heard the familar rapid typing of his friend and partner. "... Hey..." 

"What? And do I need to put a post-it note on your desk as a reminder that you are to use code names when I call you during an operation?" Chanyeol lectured, taking a back road to avoid the police, hearing the sirens faintly from a distance as he turned down his headlights to a dim, squinting his eyes to adjust to the dark road ahead of him. 

"What if The Fox is an elite? And hey, that's totally unnecessary Chany- Okay, on second thought maybe you should." Jongdae drifted off sheepishly, causing Chanyeol to laugh softly before coming to a complete stop as he heard the police sirens nearing from the other side of the trees, turning off his car completely as he waited for them to pass him before starting up his ride again, successfully escaping without a hitch. 

"Well... If they are then they're damn good and it would explain the technology they've been using to break in completely undetected at the last target's home. Those disablers are expensive. Also it certainly brings down the pool of suspects. Though I'm a little weary, most of the elites are incredibly... old." The slightly younger male tapped his fingers against the steering wheel, stepping on the gas once he reaches a road with enough cars to blend in. 

"Maybe not the elites themselves but their kids as well?"

"... Well that just made the suspect pool multiply by like seven. Who knows how many illegitimate kids those people have." Groaning softly, he hated it when Jongdae brought up a point that he had to factor into the equation. 

"Yes, I know. Alright, I'll run a list and fax them to you tonigh-"

"Don't bother, fax them to me tomorrow, I'm taking the rest of the night off." He spoke quick enough to hang up before the other could protest, turning off his phone before running his fingers through his hair in fustration as he stopped at a red light. "I am going to find out who you are if it's the last thing I do... Fox."

Hello hello!

Introducing a new collab fic by changyeols_ and fantastic-nana! I have finally roped the senior writer of mine to help bring to life a story that's been in my mind for a very long time. ; u ;

Fair warning that updates will be fairly ( really ) slow but we hope you guys enjoy the story as it's been in the making for awhile now! 

Just a little info, this is assassin!au and it will be kinda loosely be based off Mr. & Mrs. Smith but  it will probably be very different considering both authors have never watched the movie. LOL. ; o ;

The only other thing is that it'll probably be a lot more focused on their dating life more than their marriage life ( GASP did I say too much? xD )
