Starlight by Moonlight

Description

At 5, we met each other in the most cliche way possible.

At 10, I fell in love in the most common way possible.

At 12, he left my heart in pieces in the easiest way possible.

At 15, I left his heart in pieces in the most painful way possible

At 17, we separated in the most ridculous way possible.

At 21, we met in the most surprising way possible.

All of our meetings and separations were dictated by fate. We never knew what fate had in store for us till the end of time.

In the end, we can't help but to accept our separate destinies.

Foreword

I always thought our life equated to a maze of mathematical graphs. Each graph represented a person and fate is the one who draws these graphs. Some of them were straight lines, some of them parabolas. Eventually, one of these lines will meet the other and if fate allows it, these two lines may meet again. If fate opposes this relationship, these lines may eventually end up being parallel to each other and never meet again.

Sometimes, I wondered if it was possible for two lines to share the same equation and go on and on until the end of time.

But it seems like fate just loves to play with our destinies and one person must eventually leave the other, regardless the reason.

Why such a mathematical analogy? You may ask. Well, fate brought us together through math.

"Would you always stand by me?"

"...Of course, I would be your guardian angel no matter what."

Since then, I've been tangled in a web of lies.

And the only thing I could do was to sink deeper into this mess
