"Just take it and leave! You're only here for the money, right?" L.Joe took out a wad of $100 notes and threw it onto the girl who's lying on the ground.
"I........I......" The girl opened to say something but nothing came out.
"Just leave." L.Joe turned his back to her, giving her no chance to prove herself.
His voice contained no emotions at all.
The girl scrambled up and collected the money.
After looking at his back figure one more time, she left.
No one would know how lonely and hopeless L.Joe felt at that moment.
Money can buy anything.
Including love.
At least that's what L.Joe believed for 3 months after that big event that broke his heart.
