"Dude, you're looking for an apartment to share with someone right?" Baekhyun's voice reached Chanyeol's ears.

"Mm, I'm sick of living with those lovesick puppies." Chanyeol crinkled his nose in disgust at his two best friends who had recently started dating. "Listening to Sehun and Jongin as I try to fall asleep each night is not exactly what I would call an ideal lullaby."

Baekhyun cackled before carrying his laptop over to Chanyeol. "Read this ad, it's golden."

Chanyeol scrolled down to the ad and began to read:

Looking for a roommate for my two bedroom apartment. My past roommate has recently moved out, however his room is still in impeccable condition. Please read carefully in regards to what I’m looking for in a roommate:

I will not tolerate you touching my garden boxes in the living room.

I am allergic to seafood, and if I smell it in the house I will throw you out.

Late rent is unacceptable.

Use coasters when putting drinks on any surface.

I do wash on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I ask that you refrain from doing yours on those days. Additionally, do NOT leave your dirty clothes lying around anywhere but in your own room. I also ask that you do not wear the color yellow in my presence because my eyes are very sensitive to such extreme colors.

Whatever you eat of mine, I ask that you replace immediately. I do ask that you do not eat ANY of my honeydew or drink from my water bottles.

Don’t rest your feet on the coffee table and make sure to take your shoes off as soon as you walk in the door.

Don’t make loud noises after 9 pm (preferably ever, actually).

If you're an iphone user, I do not want to share my living space with you.

Inform me three hours prior if you’re planning on having guests over.

If you're hand-washing dishes, only use the filtered water that's in the fridge. I refuse to have tap water contaminating my dishware.

You must brush your teeth two times a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

I ask that you bring your own cutlery because I do not want other people’s germs touching the same knives, forks, and spoons that I eat off of.

"This is ridiculous, you're right." Chanyeol giggled to himself.

"You have to take it." 

Chanyeol looked up at Baekhyun, who was grinning from ear to ear.
 

"Are you crazy? I would break half these rules in one day."

Chanyeol squinted at Baekhyun who only ruffled Chanyeol's hair. "Come on, if you get through one month without getting kicked out, I'll pay your rent for that month."

"Really?" Chanyeol raised an eyebrow, and Baekhyun nodded. "Fine."

Chanyeol's long fingers began typing a response out.
