There wasn’t that much of uniqueness, Lee Hyukjae thought as he looked at the boy at the other end of the room. Just another trainee.
The other just entered the door with somebody by his side; both of them he had never seen in his life. Not that he had been living that long yet to have seen that many people, but still. He was a complete stranger to him and even though there were so many other new faces around him, that boy somehow seemed different. Uniqueness was what you had to have to succeed in this business and he didn’t think that this boy had much of it. Yet there was something about him. Somehow.
Hyukjae wasn’t able to describe it and he would never admit it, he just thought that somehow this boy indeed was special – maybe because they had locked gazes a couple of seconds ago and none of them broke their eye contact, for whatever reason. Hyukjae thought the other's eyes were… extraordinary? Was it okay to say that? No, seriously. They were special. Maybe that was the reason why he couldn’t tear his gaze away from them.
How old was that boy?
Was he about his age maybe?
Well, he had to be but somehow he looked younger. Much younger, to be honest. But that didn’t have to mean much. He had thought the same about Sungmin before and had noticed with surprise that the other was older than himself, even if only by a few months.
The boy sent him a smile – and Hyukjae's train of thought was gone. He didn’t know a thing about that boy yet, but one thing was for sure: his smile could outshine the sun with its brightness.
He looked handsome, that was what he noticed next. Those big brown eyes, his whole face in general; Hyukjae was sure that the girls would fall for him as soon as they saw him. He kind of looked like he was coming straight out of a manga or something.
