Hyun Joong sat in the back seat with Sasaki while Jang rode shotgun with Shinji. There was a pin drop silence in the car as each in his way was thinking about their operation because they all know this might be the last for them, they might either get killed or captured and in their line of business it pays to be dead than to be caught. This is not a hit against a rival group but against their own Organization and they know what to expect because they know just how skilled these people are, but they have one advantage and that is Hyun Joong but the others know this as well and they would target him first. For the three men it is making sure that Hyun Joong never get caught or killed and for the Hyun Joong he only cares about bringing his men back home and being able to go back to his family.

“We will park the car here,” Hyun Joong indicated an alley and Shinji nodded and then parked the car. The four men got out of the car, Shinji with his backpack and Hyun Joong with a pouch. Sasaki and Jang’s hands were bare but they had their weapons strapped to their bodies.

“I wish you would tell me what is in that precious bag of yours.” Jang said.

“You will be shocked my dear boy because it is not for the faint of hearts.” Shinji replied playfully as they all set on foot towards their destination.

“Is it a snake?” Jang asked tentatively.

Sasaki snorted. “Don’t tell me you’re scared of snakes?” He asked giving Jang an ‘I-can’t-believe-this’ look.

Jang shrugged. “We are all scared of something.” He said defensively.

“And you’re scared of snakes.” Hyun Joong put in with amusement.

Shinji laughed. “You will find out what is in my bag soon enough but you had better not be on the receiving end of it.”

“Now i am getting scared of your bag.” Sasaki said and they all laughed until silence descended once more. They have to move carefully now as they can’t ignore the fact that Wang and the others might be expecting them and have a crazy surprise for them.

“Careful,” Hyun Joong muttered and they all nodded.

The cartel has their base in a conspicuous building although many would faint if they have an idea of what happens in there. The building was once used as a Nursery School but the school has been moved and since then it had been isolated. The place had been sold to someone who owes Wang and after his failure to repay his debt he was killed and Wang took over the place. The best part of the building was that there was a concealed basement that only those really familiar with the layout of the house will find an opening to. A stranger would never discover the opening that led to the basement where they have their meetings and also serve as their hideout. This was probably the reason why Wang had chosen the place.

Hyun Joong and his men paired themselves in order to scout around just to be certain they wouldn’t find themselves in any sort of surprises. Satisfied that all appears as it should be, they entered confidently as if they are there for a meeting or to hang out as they’ve done in the past.

“Right about time you all make an appearance. We almost thought y’all chicken out.” Carter welcomed them with a sardonic grin.

Hyun Joong laughed and took a seat, making himself at home. “I am pleased to see you Carter but I am more interested in seeing Wang. Would you be a dear and get him for me? That is what you do here right? Wait on him and his whimsical isn’t it? And you are much better than it than the others.” His grin mirrored the one Carter just dropped.

“You know what? I am glad I made the suggestion to have that owlish wife of yours get killed and the new would have been dead too but she got lucky. I wonder how shocked she would be when she gets your tongue as a gift. She would love it right?” Amusement glittered in his eyes as he contemplated this new idea.

Hyun Joong laughed. “She would love it so much especially since it will be yours.” He shrugged nonchalantly.

“What is going on here?” Wang’s presence in the room changed the atmosphere. “How dare you come in here Kim?” He thundered.

Hyun Joong stood up, a small smile lurking at his lips. “I thought you are all expecting me, at least that’s what my old chap Carter here is telling me.” He turned to the glowering man. “Am I right Carter?”

“Son of a ,” Carter muttered under his breath.

“You really have the nerve to come in here.” Wang said quietly, his eyes scanning the room and Hyun Joong could tell what was going on in his mind.

“I think I deserve that right when your cowards decide to kidnap my pregnant wife and not only that they come to wreck havoc in my home when I was absent. If you are as fearless as you claim to be, I see no reason why you should be eager to take the easy way out. I certainly will never do that. What are you teaching your m
