So min held the phone to her ear,, trying to keep calm herself as she is reassuring the agitated and scared Samar. 'Take it easy Sam and tell me precisely what happened, step by step and try not to get scared.'   She said gently and tried to keep her inerrantly beating heart in check. Over the phone Samar rambled on. 'I have been noticing those men few days ago. They come in dark tinted Car, sunglasses and have the look of an assasin, I need no one to tell me that they are after me. Sometimes I could feel someone watching me even though no one is there, none I can see though. I am scared So min.'

So min inhaled sharply and scrunched up her forehead in deep thought, who could be after Sam? Does this have to do with Japan? Is it Ya Cha after them, but then how could he know Samar? Are they all in danger, will Ya Cha recognise her? What about Sato, has he been caught or worst still been killed? She hasn't heard from him since coming back to Seoul but does that meant he had met his downfall? If Sato have indeed been caught then none of them is safe anymore.

'Calm down Samar, nothing is gonna happen. All you have to do now is listen to me. I want you to leave the apartment as discreetly as you can and lodge in a small hotel till morning but make sure that you are not followed. Stay there till morning and I will contact you. You  need to leave the Country. I will keep you safe Sam.'  Although a computer genius, Samar is really not your best candidate for violence and that is why he never goes on any operations, how Ya Cha knew his whereabouts is what baffles her.

'Are you sure anout that? That you will keep me safe?' Samar asked with a muffled voice.

So min nodded even though he cannot see her.

'I am Sam just do as I said. I will come for you tomorrow morning,'

'Come for who?' A voice piped in from the doorway and So min stiffened, , she didn't even hear him approach. She turned to Hyun Joong, the phone still pressed to her ears. 'Oh that is my friend Sam,' she said casually.

'Sam? Samuel? Samson?' Hyun Joong asked as he stepped into the room, closing the door behind him. 'Here I thought you would be in bed already but you are talking to a Sam.' He said grudgingly as he stood few feets away from her.

So min could hear Samar's frantic heartbeat in her ear and she let out a small breath. She smiled at Hyun Joong and giggled , 'You are so funny Hyun Joong, Sam is a girl.' She said, still smiling and looking him straight in the eyes.

'Sam is a girl?' Hyun Joong asked suspiciously, his eyebrows quirked.

Still smiling So min said, 'Yes, Samantha. She is my friend from Intercontinentals, an American. I can't believe you are so jealous Hyun Joong.' She said with an amused smile.

Hyun Joong shuffled on his feet. 'I never thought about that,' he said as his cheeks reddened and So min actually laughed. 'I will get back at you tomorrow Sam.' Without waiting for his response she disconnected the call and threw the phone on her bedside drawer. She moved closer to Hyun Joong and kissed his cheeks. 'I will just take a shower,'

Hyun Joong stood where he was until the bathroom door closed behind her before moving to lie down on the Sofa. Who is Sam? He did not believe her a bit about the Samantha stuff. As far as he knew she hasn't been in touch with anyone at Intercontinentals so she is lying about talking to a Samantha from there. Who is Sam? Definitely she is hiding something and he chided himself for not straining his ears to listen to more of her conversation but of course he hadn't been expecting to meet her on a phone call nor to eavesdrop. He will just have to snoop around a little, let say after she slept? Good.

So min came back from the bathroom in her bathrobe, opened her wardrobe and took out a ugly looking unflattering sweats which she took back with her to the bathroom before re-emerging seconds later dressed in it.

Hyun Joong understood the message loud and clear and leave her be. He got up from the couch himself, had a shower before joining her in bed, pulling the covers to his chin, switched off his bedside lamp and closed his eyes until sleep overtook him.

So min sighed as she watched Hyun Joong's back. At least he is decent enough to get her message and act on it, there are just too many things on her mind, too many questions to be answered.
