CHAPTER 007: Devices And

Lucy was planning the wedding with the help from your mom. It was surprising to you that a wedding could actually look so stressing, even if only two days had passed by. Lucy woke up early and kept rearranging things and meeting with people. The wedding was taking so much of her time that you were starting to feel a bit upset about her spending no time with you. You thought of this, only to feel selfish later on. Of course you knew how much time planning her wedding required and you couldn't blame her for being so focused on it because to her and the family, it was a really big deal and priority.

Lucy's husband, whom you already met through video chat, was a very handsome and nice man. He looked mature but displayed a very witty and playful personality. You liked him already. His name was Donhyuk. He worked for a construction company in Korea but was living in China for a couple of years because the company's new establishment was there. He was associated in a project with your father and they became friends. Your father than later introduced Lucy and him to each other and there were, "instant sparks," as Donhyuk told you himself.       Your father worked for a tourist company. He had one of the most important positions and earn a respected amount of money. He had been really good friends with the CEO of the company for 22 years already and earned his trust and position. The job was amazing because it payed well and your father said it wasn't stressing, and you loved that because the last thing you wanted was your father collapsing because of stress. The one bad thing about it though was that he traveled a lot. A little too much, in fact. He had promised that the trip to China he took currently was his last one for a couple of months. You were glad about this and so was your mother. You were even a bit grateful because thanks to your dad you were able to meet Lucy again. Then again nothing could be perfect because he also brought Kris along....       Kris and you hadn't fought ever since Nana tied you up and made you compliment each other. It was a horrible experience and honestly you would do anything to avoid that from happening again.    You tried to ignore Kris but it was quite difficult because he always did something that angered you and made you want to beat him up. You two tried to pass by each other and pretend you two weren't in the same room, but it didn't work out that way. If one of you said something, the other couldn't help themselves but insult and say something witty; at the end you two ended bickering until Nana came in the room and scolded you (and sometimes hurt you).   It was bothersome to live with Kris but you guessed that it could be worse, so you tried your hardest not to complain to your parents.        "At what time are you coming back?" You asked your mother. She said she was going with Lucy to meet the wedding planner. According to Lucy the wedding planner was a woman from Canada who was extremely popular and strict. She was so nervous that she asked your mother to accompanied her.        "Lucy said it wouldn't take long, so don't worry. Besides, Your father is coming home soon. He said he was bringing dinner from some restaurant," she answered, "I just hope that it's not pizza," your mother frowned and you grimaced because you wanted it to be pizza.        "Oh! You're ready!" You heard Lucy say from behind you, referring to your mother. You turned around and smiled at her and she smiled back despite being in such a rush- putting on her earrings while trying to put on her heel at the same time.       "Hana, we'll be gone for about two hours or three so can you tell Nana to take her medicine? Also ask Kris if he has seen my laptop because I can't find it in the room and I'm pretty sure he's the only other person who would take it without my permission," she then kissed you in the head before your mom and her rushed out of the house.    You sighed and mumbled something to yourself before heading upstairs. You were basically alone. Your mother and Lucy were gone, your dad was out with some friends but he would bring dinner, Nana was watching her afternoon dramas in her room and Kris was in his room doing God-knows-what.        You were about to enter your room when you remembered what Lucy told you. You reluctantly came down the stairs and walked towards Nana's and Lucy's guest room. You knocked and heard Nana yell, "come in cupcake!"    You chuckled before opening the door and seeing her sitting on the floor watching TV, eating some tangerines.        "Oh Hana, what can I help you with dear?" She asked and put the tangerine she was eating down. You smiled at her. Your upper body was inside while your lower body was behind the door.       "Lucy just left with mom to meet the wedding planner and she told me to remind you to take your medicine," you told her. She scoffed and rolled her eyes.       "I already took my medicine!" She said turning back to the TV, she was obviously annoyed, "Lucy has to stop treating me like a child. I'm her grandmother!"       "Yeah but she cares for you that's all."         "Yes, I know," Nana sighs, "Anyway, you want to join me?" She smiles and motions you around her. You shake your head.        "No thank you, Nana! I'm kind of tired so I'll go take a nap..."       "Alright then. Close the door on your way out!" She declares before turning her attention back to her drama. You nod and do as told.    You head up the stairs again, this time to be stopped by a certain male.        "Yo, where's Lucy?" He asks. You look up and meet his eyes. You hated the fact that he was so damn tall because it felt like he overpowered you.    You did not like to be overpowered by Kris.    You stood still and looked forward, realizing that you were tall enough to reach the bottom of his collarbones. Thank god you were a tall girl already because you definitely didn't want to feel any smaller standing next to him.       For a second or two your body tingled at a short reminder. This moment felt quite familiar and that's when you realized that Chanyeol and you also had this height difference. Your heart squeezed painfully and you shut your eyes for a couple of seconds. Kris's voice snapped you out of your thoughts and you were actually thankful because you didn't want to think about Chanyeol.        "Didn't you

Chapter 34: Started to read this story yesterday, must admit that it affected my night. Had a hard time sleeping, couldn't stop reading. You are a painter with words, just as in the story about April. Love your way to describe people, you make it possible to me to visualize everyone, even Nana and Papa. You are a great writer, keep up the good work.

Chapter 33: I could sing praises to Hana for how mature and calm she approached this subject with chanyeol. Let's be honest, this is HOW we wanted to act when we're in this kind of situation. Literally an ideal one. Hana you're amazing. I love her character.
