CHAPTER 012: Chocolate And Skype         Kris enters his room. He has two chocolate bars on his pocket, hidden.    Earlier in the kitchen, he had found them 'hidden' on top of the refrigerator. He guessed it was you who had put them there to eat later. Being tall, Kris had no trouble spotting the chocolate and taking it.   He guessed you could live without the candy. He was helping you, supposedly.   Plus, he just didn't care if you would be upset after you found out. If, you found out, that is.   Nana came out of the corner the moment he put the bars in his back pocket, squinting her eyes suspiciously, "What you got there, Yi fan?"        "I thought you were asleep, Nana."   The old lady frowned, "Don't switch the conversation. Whatever you took and is in your pocket, is not yours.."   Kris frowned, surprise his grandmother had caught him in the act. He watched her take some water and then back to her bedroom, not before whispering, "Don't dare call for help when she barges into your room and tries to kill you for stealing her Chocolate. You deserve it."   Kris watches her disappear into her bedroom and he shrugs. You won't know it's him.   He takes the laptop and makes sure the chocolate is safe in his pocket before walking upstairs.     ********************       The last time Kris spoke to his friends was about five months ago. He opens the laptop and Logs into his Skype and he hears the sound of the call before he can even project what it is. The video camera is stabled and Kris lets himself fall onto his bad with a happy groan.        "Wu Yi fan!"   It's Luhan and he's as girly looking as he remembers.         "Hey, lu!" He smiles and waves his big hand to the camera, "how are you?"        "I'm doing well," Luhan says and watches with a pout as Kris eats one of the chocolate bars.         "I want chocolate," he says with a sad frown and Kris laughs.        "Anyway, How is your family?" Luhan mumbles, eyes still on the candy.   They talk for about 20 minutes. Luhan asking precisely about Korean babes since he's planning to go to Korea as an exchange student in about three months into the school year or so. Kris disappoints him when he tells him that all the girls he has seen aren't his type.         "What is your type anyway?" Luhan asks.        "I like petite, thin women with soft skin and small lips," he coos dreamily, remembering most of the girls he has dated over the years. At least in China because in Canada he barely dated at all.        "You're so basic," Luhan snickers, "You always date those peppy girls that like to party and wear too much makeup...not that there's anything wrong with that, but I just think you date the wrong women."        "That was extremely cheesy," Kris says, "And I like those type of girls. They're loud and fun and they're not boring...I just like them."   At this moment, he takes out the second and last bar of chocolate. Unwrapping it and taking a bite. Luhan pays no mind to it.        "I don't, diversity is fun. Strange people are interesting. They make this world go around!" Luhan says, "Of course, there is always a limit to how strange a person is."   Kris jumps at this, "That reminds me! You know Mr.Song? The guy that you met that one time you came over my house?"        "The Korean? tall guy? Oddly Handsome?"       "That's him."        "What about him?" Luhan leans into the camera and Kris has to tell him to move back because he is uncomfortable at Luhan being so close on his screen.       "Well, he has this super weird daughter who is just so damn annoying!" Kris lets out a gargling noise from the back of his throat, putting the candy down."She's so stubborn and arrogant and loud. She's so jumpy and she always has something to say. She's just so full of herself at times." He ends his words with a roll of his eyes, feeling great to complain about you to somebody who will listen.        "Oh..." Luhan snickers and Kris raises a brow, "What?"        "Oh, Nothing, just-" More laughing, "Doesn't she remind you of someone?"   Kris thinks, "Not really. I'm pretty sure I would remember someone as annoying as her."        "Oh, really?" He smirks, "Because she sounds exactly like you."   Kris gasps, hands to his chest. He has never been this offended in his 18 years of living.         "I can't believe you have said that. You literally compared me to Satan."        "Stop being a whiny brat. How old is she anyway? Ten? Twelve?"   Kris is laughing, "I wish, she's seventeen-"        "Yo! Fan fan!" Hana barges into the room, "Where the are my Candy bars?!"        Luhan, sitting in his room back in China, gapes at the girl who enters the room like a tornado from his large computer screen. She is so breathtaking that it takes him a moment to realize that this ain't fiction and that she actually exist.    He wants to tell her who he is but that's definitely not happening at the moment.        Kris screams at the unexpected intruder that is Hana and he finds himself suddenly alarmed that she's there. She looks so mad and riled up, like she's gonna pounce on him or something.   He realizes that Luhan is still watching, that it's too late into the night for noise and that Hana wouldn't hurt him, so he calms down.        "You scared me, !" Kris says, holding his hand to his chest and taking a deep breath. He rolls his eyes and sits up, "What do you want, anyway?"        "Where is my chocolate?!"        "What chocolate?"        "Give me my ing candy! I know you took them!"   Kris wants to laugh, so he does.        "First of all, I don't like you barging into my privacy. Secondly, I didn't take your stupid candy. And thirdly, it's the middle of the night so why would you eat candy now?"   Hana walks closer, shutting the door behind her and she crosses her arms like an angry mom.    Luhan is quiet in the background and he just waits for anything to happen, maybe a war of some sort.       "I put two chocolate bars on top of the refrigerator so I could eat them later, which is now, when I get hungry in the middle of the night. And they're not there anymore."   Kris shrugs, "I don't have your stupid chocolate bars."   Hana grits her teeth and she walks forward, suddenly searching his drawers and his bed, flipping the duvet and Kris feels so attacked and done for when Hana leans towards his side, next to the laptop.   She doesn't even care about Luhan's face, staring right at her, and instead groans in agony when she sees an empty wrapper and another one with the half eat

Chapter 34: Started to read this story yesterday, must admit that it affected my night. Had a hard time sleeping, couldn't stop reading. You are a painter with words, just as in the story about April. Love your way to describe people, you make it possible to me to visualize everyone, even Nana and Papa. You are a great writer, keep up the good work.

Chapter 33: I could sing praises to Hana for how mature and calm she approached this subject with chanyeol. Let's be honest, this is HOW we wanted to act when we're in this kind of situation. Literally an ideal one. Hana you're amazing. I love her character.
