Prologue

Jaeseop wants to stay like this forever, if it was a dream he don’t want to wake up from it even if this means sleeping forever. They were at the edge of a cliff overlooking the city as the sun is starting to set. The chilly wind of autumn is strong but he feels warm, as long as he is with him everything is cozy. They were sitting on his car’s hood while watching the beautiful sunset, holding hands as his beloved is resting his head on his chest. Jaeseop looked at the face that he adores so much, Kevin’s. He is smiling, with his beautiful eye smile that could melt anyone who stares at it, warms up his whole body. Kevin sat up and leaned towards Jaeseop, he could sense that his heartbeat is racing as Kevin is getting closer and closer. Kevin then suddenly kissed Jaeseop’s forehead warmly.

“Don’t ever leave my side AJ”

Jaeseop smiled and said to his lover while looking straight into his eyes, “Don’t worry, I’ll always be there by your side.”

“We made a promise, our r²p remember?” said Jaeseop lovingly.

Kevin could feel that a gush of blood suddenly flowed to his face making him feel hotter, “Promise?”

Jaeseop leaned closer and kissed Kevin softly, “I love you”

They separated and looked into each other’s eyes and stayed like that for what seemed like forever.

“WHAT THE?!” Jaeseop heard a loud noise and realized that he had fallen asleep while reading his book. It was only a dream he thought.

He kept on having those kind of dreams and it only pains him because at the end of the day he’ll realize that Kevin is only part of his imagination and he’ll never meet someone like him in real life. Aside from his dreams about Kevin, he once had a dream about a giant pigeon chasing after him with a human head. Actually it wasn’t a dream but rather a scary nightmare.
