I woke up, drenched in my own sweat, from the nightmare that has haunted me for a year. I know it wasn't intentionally my fault but I can't help but think it is. 2PM's Take Off started playing in the background taking me away from my thoughts. I sighed as I realized I beat my alarm clock...again. My name is Park Chanyeol, I work as a waiter at a Cafe named Exo's Land. My life was going great until a year and 4 months ago, my boyfriend Kim Jongin got into a fatal car accident which ended him the hospital. It was such a horrible accident that he ended up in a coma, months later his body healed, wounds gone, everything gone, he still never woke up. This is what pains me daily, I reached for my phone and pressed dismiss on the screen, he never woke up from his coma, the doctor told us it seemed like he would never wake up, a forever coma seeming as it had been a year. Struggling to actually get up out of bed, I gave in and got ready for work. After realizing he would never wake up I stopped my monthly visits to see if he would. Even so his parents never gave up hope and begged the doctors to keep him there 'til further notice. I had to stop though, if I ever wanted to live my life to it's fullest I had to let go... After showering, dressing, breakfast, you know the usual, I drove to work. As I walked in the cafe my boss D.O. (he refuses to tell anyone his real name, he think's that his employee's might be the FBI agents here to question him or whatever, for christsakes he may be crazy but is a fun guy!) called me over. 

"Ahh, Chanyeol just the elf I was looking for." He said smirking whislt walking closer to me "You have a guest, uhm his name is Kai. He said it's urgent"  Kai? Wait my Kai? No it must be a coincedence. I nodded giving him an apologetic look, I literally just walked in and it seems that he needs all the help that he can get right now, the cafe looks completely hectic. I'll just tell this Kai person they could wait until he was done, usually like my bestfriend Oh Sehun would.

"Thanks D.O.. I'll try and be quick, where is he?" I smiled 

"In the kitchen, he refused to go anywhere else..I don't know why" He chuckled and pointed toward the door behind the counter.

I walked toward the kitchen door and entered it. Once inside I saw a good looking guy sitting on the floor looking up at me, like he was a lost puppy. I just smiled, he looked like Jongin, it made me kindof happy. I had finally pushed Jongin aside considering he would never come back to life. It was quite sad how he died, but with all of my family and friends pushing me, I tried my hardest to move on, even with all the nightmares haunting me. 

The boy named Kai stood up and apporached me. Getting a better look at him, he looked more and more like Jongin, the spliting image of him. Could this be Jongin?... Impossible, the doctor said Jongin was in a forever coma and would never wake up. That's why they never buried his body or had a funeral, leaving his body in the hospital, his parents still believed one day the boy would wake up, I did as well but, I would spend most of my days in the hospital waiting for him to come back. Just to realize he never would actually wake up. So I decided to give up I hadn't gone for 4 months, the reality actually sinking in so I stopped going, unable to see his body in such a condition.

"Hi there Channie...." The boy stuck his had out towards me and smiled. It shocked me, this was absolutely impossible, after a year and 4 months Jongin finally woke up...no this wasn't Jongin he was just a look alike. But how did he know the nickname Jongin always called him, NO how did this person know his name at all. As all these thoughts came into my head, tears started coming down my eyes. Kai looked at me with worry and instead embraced me in a hug.

"Oh my...are you alright?" He said patting my back, he even sounded like Jongin. I couldn't take it...I didn't understand! I slightly pushed him away.

"W-Who are you? You sound like my Jongin but y-your not..." I said trying hard to hold my tears. He hugged me again.

"I-I am Jongin...Kim Jongin, your Boyfriend. My stage name is Kai. I have a sister name Hyemi, me and you live together. Channie I finally woke up" He said letting go of me and looking up. "My parents told me to come visit you and tell you that...I'm alive." He stopped talking as he breathed in one more time like this next sentence was going to prepare me for death "The only thing is... I have no memory of you....I'm sorry"
