Baekhyun's POV:

When it was time to wake up, it was pretty early and we all had to start getting ready for our schedule.  Once we were all dressed and had finished washing up, we got into the cars and headed out.   

Once our schedule was done and the day was practically over, I looked at the time and saw that it was only 6 pm.  I wanted to go and meet up with Taeyeon for a little nightly date, but she texted me earlier saying that she'd be really busy that night.  That left me with two options; either go back to the dorm with some of the other guys, or go over to Areum's house to hang out for a bit.  In the end, I decided to go and hang out with Areum for the night. 

I got to her house before 6:30 and walked up to the front door to ring the door bell.  When the door opened, Areum looked at me in surprise.  I smiled at her and she smiled back while stepping aside and letting me in.  It had been a while since the last time I was there, long ago when I had just been a fairly new trainee and Areum had yet to leave for college.

"So, what brings you here?" she asked while going over to the couch and sitting down.

"I just wanted to come visit my best friend," I replied, following her.

"Are you sure you didn't just want to bother me?"

I laughed.  "I just want to spend some time with my friend that I haven't seen in forever," I said innocently.  "But maybe I kind of wanted to bother you a bit, too." 

"I knew it."  She rolled her eyes playfully.

"What?  Do you want me to leave?"

"No!  I didn't say that."  She pouted and crossed her arms. 

"You're still quite childish, you know that?" I laughed and ruffled her hair.

"Stop it," she whined.  "I am not childish.  I've become more mature than you." 

That just made me laugh even more.  I pulled my hand away and was about to say more until my phone buzzed.  I took my phone out of my pocket and saw that I got a text from Taeyeon.  I smiled at the text unknowingly and began typing to reply to her.  When I was done replying, I looked up to Areum.  She was just staring at me. 

"What?" I asked while sliding my phone back into my back pocket.

"Why are you smiling so much?" she asked, poking my shoulder.

"Nothing really, I just got a text from my girlfriend."

"Oh... so it's true..." she mumbled.

"Huh?" I asked her since I couldn't hear.

"Nothing," she sing-songed. 

Your POV:

When Baekhyun said that he received a text from his girlfriend, my heart dropped.  All of those rumors that I heard and read about was really true.  Baekhyun was moving forward with his career and there was no doubt that he would find someone to love, but I couldn't help but feel sort of left behind and heartbroken.  I felt like I couldn't breathe for a second, but then he knocked me out of my shocked moment.  I knew I couldn't look disappointed in front of him, so I just acted the best as I could.

"I never thought that you would ever get a girlfriend," I joked lightly.

"Well, I did," he said proudly and dramatically swiped his bangs to one side. 

"It must be nice, huh." 

"Yeah, it's pretty nice."  I felt him look at me, but I didn't turn my head to look back at him.  "Didn't you have a boyfriend in college?"

I laughed.  "Oh come on, Baekhyun.  Do you really think someone would want to date me?  Who would date this?"  I pointed to myself.

Baekhyun's POV:

After she had said that, I frowned slightly.  I had a sudden urge to just say that I would date her, hell I would love to spend the rest of my life with her, but I knew that things would just get awkward from there.  So I held in my urge and also thought of my girlfriend.  I groaned internally and mentally slapped myself.  What the heck am I thinking... I have Taeyeon...  I already have a girlfriend...

"Some guy will," I told her. 

"You're only saying that because you're my best friend," she said and chuckled.

"No!  I'm really saying that....  Just listen to me sometimes!" I yelled and unintentionally pouted.

She laughed and playfully slapped me.  Then I reached forward and tickled her sides.  She slipped off the couch and hit the ground, but got up and tried running away.  Laughing, I jumped off the couch, too, and ran after her. 

"Stop, Baekhyun!" she screamed and laughed while trying to push my away all at the same time.

"What?  Am I only "Baekhyun" now?" I laughed with her and tickled her even more.

She slid to the ground and looked up at me in defeat.  "Oppa!  Stop it!"

"That's better."  I smirked and put a hand out for her to grab. 

I helped ~you~ up, then we made our way back to sit on the couch.  Since it was still pretty early in the night, I decided to stay longer.  We talked for a long time, trying to catch up on each other's lives since it's been forever since we last saw one another.  Then my manager called me in the middle of our conversation.  I sighed and told her that I had to leave after hanging up with him.  We stood up and she walked me out to the van.  She gave me a quick hug and then I climbed into the van and left.

Your POV:

It was lonely once Baekhyun left, so I just went back to my room and tried to finish unpacking the rest of my clothes to occupy myself.  While I was sorting my clothes and unpacking them, I couldn't get my mind off of Baekhyun. 

The thought of him and his girlfriend, SNSD's leader Taeyeon, together made me feel bitter.  Baekhyun wasn't mine and was never mine to begin with, we were never together, but I couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous. 

I've had feelings for Baekhyun ever since we were in high school, but once we graduated we went our separate ways.  He continued his dream of becoming an idol, and I went to my dream college.  I don't think I ever stopped liking Baekhyun, even if we were thousands of miles apart, because I kept thinking of him.  But now that he has a girlfriend and time has passed since high school, things are different.  The battle between wanting Baekhyun to myself versus moving on was raging within my head and it made me confused.

Hey guys!  Sorry it took a while to update, I was a little bit busy this past weekend and haven't really gotten a chance to come and sit down to write at all.  I planned to do this and that, but just haven't really gotten the time to do it all...  I really need to get myself together hahah :D  Anyways, hope you liked this chapter!
