James Reid is a sixteen year old guy who lived a typical high school life, filled with loving colleagues, a supporting family, and a best friend who was always with him through ups and downs. 

Ann Li led the simple high school life at the age of 16. She could focus on her studies while subsequently, she also juggled on her school affairs. She was well rounded, and her passion for fashion was no joke. Ann is a full-blooded Taiwanese but was born and raised in the Philippines.

She met James when they were still young, studying at the same pre-school and since then, they've been friends. Just friends. 

Ann was always there to cheer him up and James, he was always there to help her in any situation -- they literally got each others backs.  They were literally inseparable.

Their circle of friends always commented that they looked good together and teased them that they could and should be a couple.

But one day, Ann runs away. She had to, she had to go back home. To the city of Taipei.
