Sanghyuk’s touch was like magic to Leo. The second the human started to his ears, the cat boy felt relaxed and more himself than he had in weeks.

“Sorry,” Sanghyuk apologized, “Hakyeon hyung told me weeks ago that you missed me but I wasn’t paying attention.”

“It’s fine,” Leo lied, “you were busy.”

And the only reason why Sanghyuk wasn’t busy anymore was because Hongbin had gone home to see his parents for a few days. That hurt Leo, but he wasn’t going to say anything. Saying something would give away his feelings – his real feelings – for Sanghyuk and if that happened……he didn’t know what Sanghyuk would do.

“It’s not fine,” Sanghyuk frowned, “I should have been spending time with you. I could have taken you along when Hongbin and I did things. I feel like I abandoned you.”

“You didn’t,” Leo said, “not really. You still came home and you still fed me. You still made sure I wasn’t sick or anything like that.”

Sanghyuk sighed, but gave up arguing. Instead, he just let Leo curl up beside him, pressing against his side so that there was no space between them. Sanghyuk wouldn’t admit it, but having Leo there was magic. Just being close to the cat boy relaxed him more than anything else in the world.

A/N: in this addition to the Luck cat boy AU, we learn that Sanghyuk loves Leo too. Well, he has feelings for him anyway. And that you guys are probably going to hate me for ending things here. oops.
