Ravi bit the inside of his cheek, trying to keep his comments to himself. Every day that passed seemed to make holding his tongue harder to do, but the others had told – more like ordered – him to do it. Hyuk needed to do what he had to now that he was a vampire, now that he recalled nothing of his days before waking up a vampire. If that meant killing a bunch of innocent people for some kind of twisted sport, then so be it. Calling him out of it would only end badly.
At least, that’s what the others thought.
Their connection to Hyuk was simply; he was Ravi’s human. They had no emotional tie to him, so what did they care what he did now that he had been turned. Instead, they focused their attention on finding who had attacked and turned Hyuk. Apparently, that was much more important than stopping Hyuk from seducing and killing a bunch of humans as part of some big game because attacking Hyuk was an attack against them and they just could not allow that to go unpunished.
Ravi’s glare darkened. This new Hyuk wasn’t his Hyuk. His Hyuk had values and morals. His Hyuk would never hurt another living thing on purpose. This Hyuk didn’t care about any of those things. This Hyuk just wanted to have fun and kill. Honestly, it left Ravi feeling disgusted to see such a person running around committing such acts all while wearing the face of his lover.
“Loosen up,” Hyuk smiled, dropping down into the chair beside Ravi, “pick a girl, any girl, and have fun with her. Or pick one of the guys, apparently you’re into that.”
“Shut up,” Ravi hissed, feeling sick to hear such things coming from Hyuk’s mouth in Hyuk’s voice, “just shut the hell up.”
“Testy,” Hyuk rolled his eyes, “I was just trying to help.”
“Nothing you can do can help me,” Ravi replied, trying to avoid looking at Hyuk.
Instead, he forced himself to watch the young men and woman dancing around the living room in the barest minimum of clothing possible. Hyuk had kidnapped each of them – with a little help from the others who saw no problem with his actions – and used his new vampire gift of persuasion to keep them there. Originally, there had been around thirty of them, but now only twelve still drew breath. Those alive had been…..persuaded not to care, to just keep dancing and drinking, so they did as told.
“Don’t be like that,” Hyuk laughed, draping himself over Ravi, “I can help you in a lot of ways. Seriously, I’ll do any kink you can think of. You name it, I’m up for it. You can’t tell me that can’t help you chill the out.”
“Don’t say those things in his voice,” Ravi growled, grabbing Hyuk by the throat and pinning him against the nearest wall, “don’t say those kinds of things with his mouth.”
“The hell?” Hyuk hissed, trying to push Ravi off, “what the hell is your problem?”
“You,” Ravi yelled, “you’re my problem. You are not Hyuk. You will never be Hyuk. Hyuk was sweet and kind. He would never dream of hurting someone on purpose. He loved to help people. He’d been kicked around by the world, gotten the short end of the stick most of his life, but he was still so unbelievably kind and pure.” Ravi paused, willing himself not to give into his urge to cry. Not yet. “You, on the other hand, are cruel. You have no heart, you aren’t capable of loving anything. You play with people, you treat humans like toys. You…..you make me sick. I wish whatever turned you had killed you. At least then I wouldn’t have to watch you tarnish Hyuk’s body.”
Ravi pulled away and let Hyuk drop to the floor. The older vampire walked away, not sparing the younger another glance.
He decided he no longer cared. Let the sadistic vampire play his games, he wasn’t Hyuk and thus Ravi didn’t care. When this monster got himself killed, Ravi would step in to retrieve the body so that he could bury it out of respect for the human that the body belonged to.
A/N: the vampire Rahyuk storyline has a new addition! don’t worry my dears, there will be more. I can’t end things like this, can I? Well, I mean I can, but that would be pretty ty thing to do.
