Hyuk sighed, looking out the window sadly. He really had no idea what to do. He had to options, to paths, set before him. if he took the first, he could never go back. Same with the second. Normally, he had no problem with such decisions. Like when he’d had to pick between being an idol and being a normal kid. Or when picking between two different universities. But this choice was so much harder.

No matter what road he picked, someone would be hurt. His relationship with the person he didn’t pick would crumble. Maybe for a few months maybe forever. A part of him felt angry at the two others involved for making him feel like this. Why couldn’t Ravi and Leo work this out between themselves? He hadn’t asked them to fall in love with him. He just wanted them to be his friends, he just wanted them to accept him.

He cared for both the rapper and the vocal. Both were so kind and caring, it was hard not to like them.  But that didn’t mean he loved them. Honestly, he didn’t know what he felt. He had never experienced being in love before, he had no idea what it felt like. How was he supposed to know if he loved Ravi or Leo? And what if he picked one, thinking he loved him, only to realize he actually was in love with the other?

“Hyuk?” the maknae didn’t bother looking at the vocal who called his name.

“Hey,” he heard Ravi call, “what are you doing over there alone?”

“Thinking,” Hyuk replied, not sparing the rapper a glance either.

“What about?” Ravi asked, dropping down beside him, “us?”

Hyuk just nodded. The other two exchanged looks, both feeling a bit guilty for putting Hyuk in such an awkward position. Of course he would have a hard time with what they had asked him. Hyuk was the type he always wanted to please those around him. That was why he always worked so hard; he wanted the fans, the managers, the CEO, the other members, and everyone else to be happy with him. What they had asked of him would leave someone very unhappy and Hyuk felt extremely guilty over that even though he shouldn’t.

“We’ll support you,” Leo said, taking a seat on Hyuk’s side opposite Ravi, “no matter what you decide to do.” Hyuk nodded and the three fell into silence.
