The first thing Leo felt was pain. Lots of it. White hot, blinding pain that ran through his whole body and left him feeling numb. The second thing he felt was relief. Relief that if he felt the pain of the bullet, then that must mean Hyuk was alright. So long as Hyuk was still alive, he was fine with dying.

“Hyung!” Hyuk cried, trying the put pressure on the bullet wound in the other’s chest. He remembered reading that putting pressure on a wound stopped the bleeding, but he wasn’t sure if that worked for bullet wounds. It was worth a try, though.

“What happened?” the pair heard random strangers asking as they arrived on the scene, panicking and calling the police and ambulances when they realized what had happened.

“You’re crying,” Leo observed, slowly reaching up and brushing the tears from Hyuk’s cheeks, leaving blood smears instead, “please don’t cry.”

“But,” Hyuk choked on his sobs, “this is my fault. If that guy wasn’t trying to kill me, none of this would have happened.”

“It’s not your fault,” Leo insisted, “none of this will ever be your fault.”

“But,” Hyuk was muted by a finger against his lips.

“You are not to blame for any of this,” Leo explained, “It’s not your fault you witnessed a mob kill. It’s not your fault that you’re a good person and agreed to testify.”

“Yes it is!” Hyuk argued, “you’re going to die because of me.”

“I’m going to die because I love you,” Leo smiled, “because I can’t stand to let you die. The world needs you, yeobo. It needs your light, your goodness.”

“Please don’t go,” Hyuk cried harder, holding Leo close to him, “I don’t want to lose you. Please don’t leave.” Leo gave him a sad smile before his eyes started falling shut, the light fading from them.

“Love you,” Leo whispered seconds before all life left him.

“No,” Hyuk screamed, “no!”

“And cut!” the director yelled, “Good job everyone.”

The two actors got up and were quickly swarmed by hair and makeup people. Leo looked over at Hyuk, catching the other’s eye and giving him a small smile. Hyuk returned the smile with one of his own before being dragged off to the dressing room so that they could get him ready for his next scene.

It had to be fate, Leo decided, that he got to be cast as one of the two leading roles in the movie alongside Hyuk. He had idolized the young actor since his youth and was always amazed that someone so young – only a few years younger than himself – could be so talented. Hyuk was the reason he’d decided to become an actor. And now here he was, staring alongside his hero.

Even thought that death scene was his last, he’d still enjoyed his time acting alongside Hyuk. The younger had been just as sweet and kind as he’d appeared to be in interviews. To be honest, when Leo was told who he’d be staring with, he’d been scared. A part of him was convinced that the nice guy he respected so much was just an act. He’d met a lot of other actors who were as fake as the characters they portrayed on film and he hadn’t wanted to add Hyuk to that list.

“You did great,” Leo turned to find Hyuk smiling at him, “that was awesome.”

“Thank you,” Leo said, trying not to blush, “um, shouldn’t you be in wardrobe?”

“Wanting to get rid of me already?” Hyuk teased, “I’m hurt.”

“What?” Leo panicked slightly, “no! Never. I just—I just thought that they were going to film your next scene now. I don’t want you to be late and get yelled at by the director.”

“A part of the set fell over or something,” Hyuk explained with a shrug, “it’s going to take while for them to fix it, so I was told to go get something to eat. Want to come with?”

“Yeah,” Leo nodded, trying his best not to sound too happy about the offer. Judging by the smile on Hyuk’s face, he’d failed.

“You know,” Hyuk said as the pair walked away to the lunch tent, “there is one thing I hated about filming this movie.”

“What was it?” Leo asked, silently hoping that he wasn’t want the other had hated.

“I didn’t get to kiss my co-star,” Hyuk smiled before leading over and kissing Leo’s lips quickly. Leo stood there stunned for a moment as he tried to process what had just happened. “I really think that my character should have kissed your character as he died,” Hyuk smiled before starting to walk away.

Leo noticed a small blush gracing Hyuk’s face just before the younger turned to go. That blush gave him a sudden confidence boost and he rushed to follow Hyuk. Leo entwined their fingers, falling into step with Hyuk and taking a great deal of pride in the small blush that grew on Hyuk’s face at his actions.

“I think there should have been more than just one kiss,” Leo said.

“I think there will be,” Hyuk replied, playfully swinging their hands as they walked, “I think that there are going to be a lot more kisses.”

A/N: I’m honestly not sure how I feel about this one. On one hand, its super cute and fluffy and I kind of like that. On the other, it almost seemed *looks for right word* too fluffy? Sickeningly sweet? Just too cute. Oh well, what do you guys think about it?
