Sanghyuk always loved flying. Of all his super powers, this was the one. The favourite. He could spend hours up in the air, flying anywhere he wanted simply because he could. It drove his brothers crazy sometimes, especially because he’d never tell them when he was heading out and where he was going. To be fair, he never knew the answer to those questions himself, never planning for his little flying trips.

“Hey.”

Sanghyuk looked over to find Wonsik flying over to him and managed a half smile. He’d have fallen into his customary smirk, but knew Wonsik didn’t exactly appreciate that. He always said he liked Sanghyuk’s smile more, so Sanghyuk decided to give him what he liked.

It still amazed him – and Wonsik sometimes – how they’d become friends. They’d fought a lot growing up, always trying to kill each other. In fact, at one point Wonsik did kill him. After all, Wonsik was a good guy, a hero, and Sanghyuk was a bad guy, a criminal. But that wasn’t the point, their weird friendship was.

After all, who would have ever thought that a Powerpuff Boy could become friends with a Rowdyruff Boy?  None one, that’s who.

“What brings you up here?” Sanghyuk asked lazily, examining his nails, “don’t you have a class to get to, goody two shoes?” Wonsik’s cheeks puffed up in irritation and Sanghyuk grinned brightly at how cute the other looked. He did so love teasing Wonsik, his expressions were always so adorable.

“Class was a drag,” Wonsik shrugged, deciding that getting mad wasn’t worth it. Not with Sanghyuk.

“So you came to find a juvenile delinquent  to kill time with?” Sanghyuk laughed, “I’m touched, but what would the good people of Townsville think should they hear about one of their most prized sons consorting with the likes of me?”

“Don’t care,” Wonsik replied, moving even closer and getting right into Sanghyuk’s personal space as if that would show just how little he cared, “I do what I want with whoever I want.”

Sanghyuk just laughed harder, the sound filling Wonsik’s chest with warmth. When Sanghyuk finally calmed his laugher, he took off across the sky with Wonsik close behind. Both shared a quick nod, silently agreeing to a race. This was the kind of moment Wonsik lived for, rushing through the skies with his favourite person in the whole world.

It would only be better if he could confess his feeling for Sanghyuk. Maybe then they could end these races with a kiss instead of the winner bragging.

A/N: k, so I liked the Powerpuff Girls as a kid and recently found this amazing (but un-updated for the past 2 years) fanfic for ‘em and I just........kind of fell back in love with the show I guess. Anyway. Just for an idea of who’s who: N is Blossom, Leo is Brick, Ken is Bubbles, Hongbin is Boomer, Wonsik is Buttercup, and Sanghyuk is Butch. Not gonna give this a full story any time soon, but........if I ever get an idea of where to take this I’d love to try.
