The flames kept getting higher and higher. The smoke was so think that Ken couldn’t see anything. Outside, he could hear the people yelling and a fire truck’s siren wailing. He wanted to go towards those sounds, but he knew that he couldn’t. He couldn’t carry his boyfriend’s unconscious body out. He couldn’t leave him their either.

What if he did leave? Then Hyuk would be all alone in the flaming hell hole. He couldn’t do that.

Suddenly, part of the ceiling gave way, heading right for the pair. Ken could only hug his lover closer, silently praying that something would save then form their horrible fate.

“Hyung!”

Ken snapped his eyes open and found Hyuk sitting above him, frowning slightly.

“Hyukkie?” Ken blinked, brain trying to process the sudden change of location. He could have sworn that they were just in a burning building. Now they were someplace completely different.

“What were you screaming about?” Hyuk asked, moving back slightly and Ken took in the room around them, realizing that they were in VIXX’s dorm.

“I was screaming?” Ken asked, brain still processing everything.

“Yeah,” Hyuk nodded, “you kept calling my name and fire and.......to be honest, hyung, it was kind of scary.”

“It was just a nightmare,” Ken sighed, obviously relieved, “just a regular bad dream.”

“That all?” Hyuk asked, juts to be sure.

“Yep,” Ken smiled, “hey, just to make sure that dream doesn’t come back.....could with me?”

“Alright,” Hyuk rolled his eyes playfully, “but just so you don’t wake up the whole dorm again with your screaming. N hyung was ing about needing his sleep.”

Ken hummed in reply, nuzzling his face into Hyuk’s chest. The dream was scary as heck and he was a bit worried about going back to sleep, but having Hyuk in his arms......getting to cuddle with the one he loved most in the whole world.......the bad dream was so worth it.

A/N: took me a little to think of just the right thing to write, but so worth the time it took.
