“Hyung?” Hyuk yawned, looking over at his roommate’s bed, “what are you doing?”

“Just writing a song,” Ravi replied, not looking up.

“It’s three in the morning,” Hyuk frowned, looking over at his alarm clock.

“I’ll go to bed soon,” Ravi said, still not looking up.

“Hyung,” Hyuk sighed, trying to contain his frustration, “you’ve been doing this all week. You need to sleep.”

“I’ll be fine,” Ravi said, glancing up just long enough to give Hyuk a ‘mind your own business’ look, “just let me finish this.”

“No,” Hyuk said, getting up and moving over to Ravi’s bed, “just what the heck are you working on that’s so important?”

“Just a song,” Ravi said, shifting his laptop away from Hyuk so the younger couldn’t see what he was typing.

“Just a song,” Hyuk scoffed, “yeah right. You know what? I don’t care anymore. If you wanna stay up late and not sleep in favour of this song, be my guest. Just don’t come crying to me when your body gives out on you.”

What Hyuk didn’t say was that he was going to mention this to the other members. Maybe they would be able to set Ravi straight. If they couldn’t, then at least they would be helping him keep an eye on the rapper so he didn’t actually pass out due to exhaustion.

Ravi sighed, feeling bad for sending Hyuk off like that. At the same time he really wanted to finish the song he was working on. This song was special, it was going to be his confession to Hyuk. Naturally he couldn’t tell Hyuk that. Not now anyway.

A/N: not too crazy ‘bout that ending, but over all I like this one.
