“You need proof,” Leo said, patting Ken’s shoulder, “you can’t just go and accuse Hyuk of cheating.”

“But he’s always whispering with N,” Ken whined, “and then they shut up whenever they see me.”

“That doesn’t mean cheating,” Leo argued, “maybe they’re planning something for you.”

“Like what?” Ken scoffed, “how they’re going to break it to me that they’ve been going behind my back and cheating?”

“Oh for crying out loud,” Leo sighed, “they’re going to kill me for telling you this, but N is helping Hyuk plan a surprise for your birthday.”

“Huh?” Ken blinked, “but my birthday isn’t for………another two days.”

“Exactly,” Leo nodded, “Hyuk wanted to do something special for you and so he asked N for help. Well, first he asked Hongbin, but when he couldn’t come up with anything good he went to N.”

“Oh,” Ken looked down, clearly ashamed of himself for thinking that his beloved boyfriend would ever cheat on him.

“Don’t let on that you know, alright?” Leo said before leaving, “Hyuk’s been working really hard on this surprise.”

“Promise,” Ken smiled.

“Hey,” Hyuk smiled, dropping down onto the couch beside Ken a few hours later, “how are you?”

“Good,” Ken replied, “just missing you.”

“Sorry,” Hyuk apologized, “N hyung has this idea for a dance routine the pair of us can do at our next concert.”

“It’s alright,” Ken said, doing his best to pretend he believed Hyuk, “I know you two will be awesome.”

“Thanks,” Hyuk replied, “hey, do you have any plans for tomorrow night?”

“No,” Ken bit back the excited smile that wanted to form, “why?”

“No reason,” Hyuk said, “just wondered if you wanted to go for, like, a walk or something. we haven’t done something like that for a while.”

“Alright,” Ken couldn’t help but smile, “that would be nice.”

“Good,” Hyuk said before leaving, “don’t make any other plans, alright?”

A/N: poor Ken, he should know that only a crazy person would cheat on him. I………don’ really think I lived up to the theme all that well, but……I’m still happy with the end result
