Leo watched as Sanghyuk wandered around the campus gardens, following his friend Hongbin as the other ran about taking picture after picture. Sanghyuk didn’t hate photography, but he didn’t love it as much as Hongbin did. When Hongbin got in the zone and his whole focus was on his camera, Sanghyuk was left alone with nothing to do but feel a little left out.

This worked to Leo’s advantage, though.

“Hello,” he greeted Sanghyuk, “how are you?”

“Hi,” Sanghyuk smiled after recovering from his surprise at Leo’s sudden appearance, “I’m, um, good. How are you?”

“I’m a little lost,” Leo lied, “you look like you know your way around. Could you help me find the dorms?”

“Sorry,” Sanghyuk apologized, “I’m new here, too. I haven’t even gotten to the dorms yet.”

“Too bad,” Leo frowned slightly before proposing an idea to the human, “do you want to go looking for it with me?”

“That would be fine,” Sanghyuk flashed Leo an apologetic smile, “but I can’t leave my friend here alone.”

“He could come with us?” Leo said. He didn’t want Hongbin to be there, he wanted to be alone with Sanghyuk. But if getting any time with Sanghyuk meant bringing Hongbin along just this once, Leo would do it.

“Alright then,” Sanghyuk smiled before turning to Hongbin who was still more focused on getting pictures of the garden then what was going on around him, “Hey, Bin. We’re going to the dorms, alright. We can come back later.”

“Poo,” Hongbin sighed, but headed over to Sanghyuk and Leo nun the less.

“I’m Leo,” Leo greated when Hongbin finally took notice of him.

“Nice to meet you,” Hongbin smiled, throwing an arm around Sanghuyk’s shoulder and pulling him down so that they were the same height, “I’m Hongbin, this kid’s best friend, so don’t think you can take my place.”

Sanghyuk playfully pushed the laughing Hongbin away. Leo watched with a small smile. No, he wasn’t going to take Hongbin’s place as Sanghuyk’s friend. He was going to take the place of Sanghyuk’s boyfriend and then he would take the position as Sanghyuk’s husband.

A/N: just gotta say, the little “this kid’s best friend, so don’t think you can take my place”  line? Love it.......given i did write it but.....
