“You’re crazy, right?” Saehee blinked, Himchan leaned back against his seat.

“Just this once. You’re the only person I can trust with this.”

“So, you want me to help you sabotage your engagement? Can’t your playboy image destroy that?”

Himchan gave her a wan look.

“We both know it’s true, don’t even try denying it.” She murmured.

“But, please, just this once Saehee. This isn’t Korea, people wont mind. They won’t talk.”

Mark entered the restaurant with Namjoo, soon he was welcomed by the secretarial staff.

“Welcome, sir!”

Mark just nodded before sitting down, Jaekyung was seated across him.

“Jaekyung says you don’t drink much?” One of them asked, Mark nodded.

“I don’t drink.” Mark replied, his tone flat. Jaekyung almost smiled.

“Then, we saw your girlfriend, she’s very pretty, sir!” They cheered, Mark managed to smile slightly before picking up his chopsticks.

“Then, sir, do you plan to stay for a long time in Taipei?”

Mark looked up.

“No, Korea’s my home now.” He nodded, Jaekyung’s brows rose slightly.

“Ah, right, vice president, earlier~”

Mark’s phone started to ring, Jaekyung paused and started to talk with Namjoo.

“Sae?”

Saehee smiled before walking towards the windows.

“Have you eaten~ Oh, you are eating. Did I~”

“I’m out with some of the employees for dinner, it’s fine. How are you?”

Saehee nodded.

“Actually, I’ve been~”

“Sir, Jaekyung told us about the other time too, when~”

“It’s nothing, vice president!”

Saehee could recognize Jaekyung’s voice from the other line, she paused.

“Jung Saehee?” Mark said, Saehee blinked.

“Uhm, sorry. I was talking with Himcahn earlier and he~”

“Is it true, sir? Jaekyung’s covering up for you!”

“Saehee, you were saying~”

“He’s on the phone, jie. Stop it. We’re sorry, vice president.” Jaekyung was chuckling from the other line.

Saehee’s brows furrowed, she pulled the phone away from her ear, she shut it off and walked out of her office.

“Yes, baby girl?” Jackson answered.

“Uhm, mister Wang?”

He blinked, clearly it was Saehee’s office that was calling him and he was expecting it to be Saehee calling him.

“Yes?” He answered.

“Miss Jung would like to speak to you,”

He waited for a few seconds.

“Jackson?”

“Where’s your cellphone?” He asked, peeved.

“I need…to talk to you.”

Jackson paused at her tone, Saehee sounded bothered and different.

“Can…you come over?”

Saehee entered the mall alone, she was dressed in a black lace dress, a pair of black patent heels and her Chanel purse slung on her slim shoulder.

“I knew I made the right choice when I chose not to make a move on you,”

She turned and found Himchan walking to her.

“I didn’t come here to~”

“You came here to help me, I know and in return~” Himchan patted his shoulder.

“Whenever you need a shoulder to lean on, an ear~”

“I get it.” Saehee said irritably, Himchan smiled. He had noticed the change in her demeanor the past few days. Something was bothering his new friend.

“So, what’s your plan, KimSan?”

Himchan grinned before offering his arm to her, Saehee rolled her eyes and took it.

“She’s the daughter of Eisai Group, and…we already met..I told her I didn’t want to do it, but she refuses to disobey her parents.”

Saehee nodded as they walked.

“So, you think I would play as your girlfriend to get her to back out?” She asked.

“Nope,” Himchan beamed at her, Saehee pushed him away.

“Then what? Should I play mean stepmother?”

“Not that, my mother actually supports the idea of me marrying that girl.”

“Just tell me what you want me to do.”

“Be my ex-girlfriend, the ex-girlfriend I never stopped loving.”
