“Stick with me, you are in no condition to seek for him youself. Plus, I don’t exactly know how Kyukyu looks like, so you have to stay with me.”

He grabbed her wrist, and she was too scared to care.

They searched in silence and panic for the missing little boy.

“Have you searched the outdoor playground outside the mall?”

“No… I don’t know…”

She replied in panic as he decided to ignore her and pulled her along out to the outskirts of the mall.

He heard her shout.

“No, don’t! Come back Kyukyu ah!!!”

Following her gaze, the little boy who was crying too from his tear stained face was what it seems attempting to cross the road to the bus stop opposite the road.  

The little boy turned, searching for the voice of his mother.

And then, a car screeched.

The little boy was plopped lifeless on the ground.

Shrieks and cries all over the road.

“Kyukyu ah!!!”

She ran towards the boy with all her might.

He ran after her.
