She is who she is
And where was forever? If she wasn’t who she was, she might fall head over heels with him.
He was funny and easy going, accommodating to her everytime.
She hadn’t expect herself to agree to the following dates, and a week later, she found herself cooking with Hyoyeon while Eunhyuk had suggested inviting Yonghwa over for dinner and introducing Kyujae to him.
And she knows what her Hyukkie Oppa wants to do.
What he meant.
Kyujae was her past. Present and definitely her future.
By putting Yonghwa into the picture with Kyujae, she was accepting him into her present, her future, and allowing him to reveal her past. The past that she had kept hidden, and he had the courtesy to no probe in at all, thankfully.
She was so immersed in her thought that she didn’t realize the stew she was making was overflowing from the pot.
“Seohyun ah! The stew!”
A figure rush past and turn off the stove while she woke up from her trance and took a cloth to wipe off the excess overflow away.
“What were you thinking of, so immersed in your thoughts!”
Her Unnie chided her, yet she could feel her hand gently crept up her shoulders, seeming to hold her straight and giving her some support.
‘I know what you are thinking. Seohyun ah, you promised your Oppa to give him a chance, yourself a second chance and everyone a second chance. Remember, take a leap of faith. Believe in yourself. You know he is a good guy. Try to open your heart again.’
She smiles, as she felt herself relax and leaned against her beloved sister/mother figure.
‘Don’t stress yourself, take it slowly.’
Hyoyeon rubs her sister’s arm, sending her some warmth and encouragement.

It didn’t take long for Kyujae to warm up himself to Yonghwa.
He took Yonghwa to his room, showing off his toys and had spent an hour before they knew it when Eunhyuk had to drag them out for dinner.
He sat himself in between his Mum and his new uncle, smiling all widely at both of them, amking the adults laugh at his innocence.
She smiles at she looks at her son eating happily.
Could this just be it?
If she wasn’t who she was, she might fall head over heels with him.
But, she was who she is. She is who she is.
The woman who had failed her life, left alone with her son.
