That was a turning point for her -- at 20 years old, she killed her grandfather in rage and since then, has dropped out of college and become a cold, paid assassin. A year ago, a client hired her to kill her own Father who was poised to take over the family business. What happened that night changed her. (Based on the one-shot short story, "The Target")

Lee Min Ho - sole heir to Wang Gwan (English trans: Crown) Group. For the purpose of this story, think of Wang Gwan (WG) as Samsung Group. Lee Min Ho's grandfather in this story is Lee Kun Hee (who is the actual Chairman of Samsung Group). Wang Gwan is the largest South Korean chaebol worth hundreds of billions of dollars and employs roughly 450,000 people across the globe. His parents died in an accident when he was only 18 years old. He blames his family and background for their death and wants nothing to do with the family business.

Yoon Shi Yoon - Park Shin Hye's childhood best friend and a brilliant hacker who helps her out in her operations. They live together in one house, but their relationship is purely platonic and he cares for Shin Hye like a sister. He's naturally funny, and keeps it light whenever Shin Hye is too intense -- which is all of the time. He knows all about her family background, but he is not aware of what happened between Shin Hye and her Father a year ago. As far as he knows, Shin Hye left to do a job on her own and since then, she's acted differently.

Kim Soo Hyun - Shin Hye's high school sunbae and first crush. They meet again unexpectedly after seven long years. Shin Hye has always admired his sense of justice. It was no surprise to her that he became an esteemed police detective. But things get complicated when Shin Hye finds out that he heads the hunt for the 'vigilante' who's been killing off bad people for the past year. Unknown to Soo Hyun, the criminal he's desperately looking for is the girl he has never forgotten since high school.
