I've been asked to make a glossary for some of the Korean words. I think it's a great idea!
I'm not a Korean speaker so please feel free to me if I use words incorrectly in my story.
I'll be adding to the list as we go... it's fun to learn new words ^^
Anyo/Ani = No
Ne = Yes
Wae = why (also sometimes used as a reply when someone calls your name)
Gwaenchana = Are you okay?/It's okay
Jebal = Please
Kahmsahmnida/Gomawo (Kumawo) = Thank you
Mian/Mianhe = Sorry
Araso = okay
Bwoh = What?
Joyaheo = I like you
Chincha /Jeongmal = Really?
Kurae = right
Sunbae = polite way of adressing a student older than you
Oppa = what a girl calls an older male (sometimes carries the implication that she likes him)
Cheonmanayo = It's nothing (in response to thank you)
Yeogi = Here, this is, here is
Yobseyo = Hello (how you answer the phone
