It was the Joseon era,year 1870 ruled by the king Gojong and ofcourse he is your father too.Your 22nd birthday was coming near and whole palace was in chaos.Two days remaining for your birthday but still half of the preparation was not done.Your father wanted to give a big feast for the whole palace including prime minister and noble men too.Your mother was busy decorating your chamber and as always you where nowhere to be seen.Actually like any other day you were busy playing hide and seek with your lil brother,Hwang joon.It was now the part of your daily routine to entertain him and yourself too.And ofcourse,you will not be seen by anyone cause you are hiding.Joon was searching for you under the table,behind the trees and in your chamber too but he didn't see you."Princess!It's not fair.I'm smaller than you so that's why,I should be the one hiding and you should be the one searching for me!"You chuckled hearing what he said.But game is a game.No cheating,no whining and no black mai-"Got you!Princess,you are so fool.How could you think of hiding in the kitchen.You are so obvious.I just made a fool out of you."Busted!"Yeah!Yeah!Don't think that you are that smart Prince Joon.I will just catch you in a minute!"You stood up from your place and went to count  from 1 to 100.Actually who counts the number,after feeling that 100 seconds passed you can just tell him that you finished counting."100!I'm coming to get you!"You started looking for him and first place to look for him will be ofcourse garden.You slowly walked making sure that you didn't make any sort of noise and "Caaught yo-He's not here!ARGH!"You stomped the foot on the ground and started looking for him in the kitchen."Princess Mirae!Why are you wandering like that.Time to eat dinner now and if you are looking for prince Joon,then stop  searching him cause he is in your father's room,eating with him."Your mother called you and then you two headed to your father's room."So,our lovely daughter will be 22 years old after 2 more days amd also a big surprise is waiting for you.Do you need anything for your birthday?"Your father grinned as he patted your head.You didn't need anthing on your birthday.Till now they gave you anything that you need,even before  you could ask them anything that you need,they would give you.But being a princess,you weren't allowed to go outside the palace alone.Even outside,you were always surrounded with guards which you really hated ."Umm..actually there's nothing so special but if you allow then I want to go outside the palace alone for some time."You replied waiting for him to answer which you know already."Yes..I will allow you but you must return to palace before 5pm."See,you just knew that he won't allow it.Wait...what?Did you just heard it wrong or he really allowed it?"You will?"Still not sure whether you heard it correct."Yes,you can but return before 5pm."You saw that prince Joon mouth was slightly opened cause he can't believe what he heard.Even in your 20th,21th birthday you asked for his permission but he didn't allow you but now what has gotten into him that he allowed it.

You were still in your dreamland but you heard some noise which made you to open your eyes.You saw that your father,mother and Joon was waiting for you to wake up."Princess Mirae looks so ugly with bed hair!"Prince Joon commented after looking at your messy bird nest.Even princess needs to comb her hair to make it look beautiful like any other ordinary girl.It's not like her hair will fall perfectly on her shoulders."Forget it!Why are you all here in this morning?"You asked completely forgetting that it's your birthday."Mom see,I told you that she won't remember her own birthday!"What!My birthday...is today   february 12th?How can I forget it."Happy birthday our little princess!!"All of them congratulated you and gave you a big tight hug."Aww..Thank you mother.Thank you father and thanks Joon for wishing me as soon as I waked up."You gave them a big simple and pinched your lil prince cheek."Ouch!That seriously hurts!"Joon whined in pain."Father!Remember my gift right?So shall I go now?"You asked your father."Yes..but come before 5pm cause there are some guests that I want you to meet them."Your father pinched your little nose."Yes!Your majesty!"You gave him a salute and he chuckled.

You were watching people doing their business on the streets.Some were selling foods and some were selling clothes."Ah she's pretty.""Look it's Mirae princess.""She have beautiful simle."Everyone was praising you which made you smile.Food's aroma was mixed in the air,just by smelling it you thought that it was delicious."Hello!Can I have that one?How much is it?"You asked the owner of that food not removing eyes from it."You can have it as your birthday present for free,princess."She gave it to you and she bowed to you."Hmm~delicious~"You sang biting the last bit of it.Time passed so fastly and it was 4pm.You had one more hour to enjoy this moment. Once,you heard from your mother that near the forest there was a beautiful pond made by your great grandfather and also that was very famous at that time but due to some tragic incident nowadays nobody gose there.You headed towards the pond and saw a figure standing near the pond."You came..I was waiting for you."He beamed staring at the pond.*Me?Was he talking with me?*you thought."Me?"You asked him and he repiled with a nod."Now that you came here,I came to return you,your thing that your great grandfather left for his great granddaughter."He came nearer to you and showed somekind of necklace."What is this?And who are you?"You asked staring at the strange looking necklace."What is this and who am I,doesn't matter at all.All that matter is;you came here to me and that's why I'm giving you this.Wear it,it will protect from all the evil things which is surrounding you."You once again stared at the necklace that he handed it to you."Bu-"Hello?Where are you?"No one was there.Neither him or neither the pond.All you could see was a big deserted land and you standing in the middle of it.
