Until The Last Moment (was My Immortal)
Description
Once there lived a race of beings that were immortal, but their beauty was beyond anything mortal. They are called Vampires. Legends call them demons because they would feed off humans and animals. The way they feed, would make any human become sick. The vampires would drink the blood of living humans and animals. But, it was never like that before. Vampires used to only feed on animals and each other, but something in their timeline changed the way they feed. Because of that change, vampires have been feared and cursed by humans.
Vampires were not the only ones that used to roam the earth. The other race that were around with the vampires is a race that humans know quite well. They are called wolves. But, they are not like ordinary wolves. These wolves are ten times bigger than a normal wolf. Their coats come in the usual colors of the normal wolves. But, the eyes of these wolves are usually yellow, brown or blue. These wolves used to live along with humans, until their timeline changed things, and now these wolves are feared and cursed as well. Soon, the humans that once lived and played with the wolves called them Werewolves. These wolves were banished from human contact forever. Werewolves try not to interfere with the humans as much as the vampires do. Werewolves don’t need human consumption to live.
Before the timelines were changed, a treaty was made between the vampires and the werewolves. The treaty said that there will be no killing between species. For thousands of years the treaty stood and the vampires and werewolves never once entered each other’s realms. But, something happened to the treaty and soon the pact between vampires and werewolves was broken. Vampires and werewolves fought and killed each other. Each race lost hundreds of thousands of family members. Very soon, vampires and werewolves were no longer heard of. Legend says that they killed each other to the point of extinction.
But, there are stories that are being told to this day of a beautiful woman walking the woods of South Korea. No one has dared to enter the woods at night, nor have they thought of talking to this beautiful woman. The stories over the years have told of this woman being pale, with long black midnight hair and a gown of sapphire blue. They say that she walks the same path over and over again, never once looking their way. The storytellers call her the ghost of the forest because, she seems to disappear. The stories were also told that she only comes out when there is a bright full moon.
One of the stories told was that twelve children will be given special powers of the earth. Their powers are very strong, but can only be accessed through a charm. Since the story was told, people have looked everywhere to find where these children are. But, no charms of the earth have ever been found. Soon, the stories were labeled fairy tales, and never to believed. The people, lived their lives and never thought of the stories again. The books about these creatures were locked away, never to see the light of day.
After thousands of years, can the treaty between Vampires and Werewolves, once again be restored? Or will the war between the two races continue forever?
Foreword
Well, hello again.
I'm here with another story, one that I'm not quite sure where it came from, but I think it was partly due to watching EXO's Wolf and Van Helsing that I came up with this. Let me clue you on a little secret, I've ALWAYS had a fascination with Vampires and Werewolves. Are they real? Are they a myth? No one knows. But, the stories and books have caught many people's attention. Whether they are real or a myth, the stories will always be around. Who knows, maybe a Vampire or Werewolf ARE roaming around the world, but they've evolved to being able to not show themselves unless it's to the right person. Evolution is something that humans are still understanding. They are finding animals that should've been extinct, living solitary lives away from people. So, who knows what a dark forest holds. Would you want to walk in a dark forest to see if you can find a Werewolf, or a Vampire?
I have told many people that just because you haven't seen anything, doesn't mean it's not there. You just need to "open" your imaginary eyes and see what you've been told that what doesn't exist, could exist. The reason why I say that is because for years, I've never believed in ghosts, until I saw a ghost in my house and ever since then I've believed in them. It's strange to tell people that you live in a house with ghosts. Now, you may choose not to believe me, I really don't care. But, I do. And ever since living in a house with ghosts, it's changed my persepecitve on all the other imaginary creatures that we are so used to saying are just fairytales.
I believe there are things in this world, that we have no knowledge of or how to control them. I believe there could be portals around the world that could send you to other worlds or even to see in the afterlife, but I'm not going to explain why I believe in them. I just do.
So, after watching Van Helsing and EXO's Wolf, this idea came to me. I know that my other stories just played around with wolves, or a human girl (Porcelain). But, this time, it's different. This time I want to bring in Vampires and Werewolves. And along with my other stories, I don't write . I'm not saying I don't like reading it, I just can't write it if my life depended on it. I just wanted to write a story that many authors can enjoy reading. I know many authors are into , so if you don't like reading a "normal" story, then you can look somewhere else. But, for those authors who want to read a story that doesn't contain that, then enjoy.
It might take a while between chapters, as seeing I'm working and also doing my summer classes in college. Granted, that my classes are online, I still need to work on them. But, when I'm done with the homework after a few hours, I'll try and post a chapter. So, please bare with me.
