Some of you may know me from my other fics, notably the Blood series (The Blood Brother Code, Blood Sister and Blood Bound), or from Deer Luhan, With Love or possibly my Kyungsoo fic, Rogue, or my Baekhyun and Lay fics, Attayear and Draw Me a Date respectively).  If you do, you'll know that I love receiving comments and I reply to every single one.

I had this story planned long before I started writing Deer Luhan, With Love because I hadn't found a Mamaverse fanfic with Chen as the MC and I really wanted to read one.  I had to have another main character for the second land, though, and for that, I chose Sehun.  This story takes place in two lands: Exoplanet (Up Above) for the first half of most chapters and Endoplanet (Down Under) for the second half of most chapters.  Some chapters will only focus on Chen's story arc and others will only focus on Sehun's.

UPDATES WILL BE MONTHLY, but if I can, I will update more frequently than that.  Each split chapter (both Sehun and Chen) will be around 3000 words long.  Chapters that focus on one or the other will be a minimum of 2000 words.

Warning: This fic will feature scenes of violence, some gore (usually only mild), and death.  It should, however, remain PG-13/15.

Featuring:

On Exoplanet

A cult of anarchists with tattoos of red eyes on their arms and foreheads which wipes out most of the royal family.

Princess Gaia, Sehun's best friend and directly in line to the throne.  Posesses highly volatile magic powers which have nearly killed Sehun by accident on more than one occasion, but they can usually be controlled when she's kept away from all knowledge and forms of magic.

Princess Gaia's favourite pot plant: supposed to have been sent Down Under in case it triggers Gaia's magic powers, this plant is half a tree and actually contains the comatose soul of her big brother.  Gaia doesn't remember turning him into a tree (or his existence) because of the memory wipes.

Sehun, Gaia's personal bodyguard and best friend since they were toddlers.  Orphaned.  He is wary about magic, especially since the occasion Gaia nearly killed him by accident and her big brother intervened, getting turned into half a tree, but his fondness for Gaia keeps him steadily by her side.

Kai, Sehun's only real friend outside the palace, recently transferred from the magic section of the exclusive boarding school for practitioners of magic to the regular section for his personal safety.  Spends most of his time teleporting and hiding away from bullies.

D.O., the new kid on the block who the anarchists desperately want to get rid of because of his affinity with earth magic and who the magicians at the school desperately want to recruit for the same reason.

Chanyeol: the top student in the magic section of the school.  Enjoys playing with fire and has developed a method of sending messages through flames.  Has a pet fire phoenix he likes to pull out at odd moments to scare people.

Baekhyun: the headmaster's son, transferred to the magical section of the school when it was discovered that all the electric lights in the main section of the school kept fusing because light was attracted to him.

Suho, head boy of the magical section of the school and national representative of magically-endowed children and students.  Can usually be found sitting in the shark tank in the school aquarium as he believes that life-threatening situations develop magical powers the fastest and he wants to develop his ability to control water.

On Endoplanet

The Red Eye tribe, intent on finding the Tree of Life so that they can use its magical power to take over the world and invade Exoplanet through the Tree's life force, which links the two lands together, as they were expelled from Exoplanet by the Tree's original guardians and want revenge.  Huge in number as the tribe has absorbed most other tribes in the land and many have flocked to their cause, as most people in the country aren't magic users and not only resent those who are, but would also like to be able wield magical powers themselves.

Silva: a pretty much completely taciturn girl who is the only non-magic user in the side of the school reserved for those with magical powers, and this is only because she's a dryad.  Has a crush on Chen.

Chen, a happy-go-lucky prankster and governor of thunder and lightning who was brought into the school when the principal's wife found him at a young age surrounded by the charred remains of his village and an entire tribe of bandits that had been raiding it.  One of the most powerful magical users in the land when his powers are high, but almost helpless when they're on ebb.  Will happily fuse all the lights in the building, but is terrified of actually using his powers to harm people.

Xiumin, Chen's best friend and a quiet academy student from the South Wing of the school.  They became close when Chen blew up their school's centuries-old iconic tree in the school's central courtyard with lightning to get Xiumin's bullies to back off.  Can manipulate frost.

Lay, a rather unorthodox student surgeon who managed to take over the school's infirmary.  A scatty genius and rumoured to use magic and have a pet unicorn, but nobody has seen either.

Kris, the youngest boarding director in the history of the school.  Undisputed genius and finds himself scrambling to assemble the Guardians of the Tree of Life in order to save the world when the army is wiped out.  Able to fly, enjoys archery as a past time, and has a pet fire dragon spirit accidentally sent to him by Chanyeol when the latter was first trying out methods of flame communication.  Cross-world friends with Chanyeol and one of the few privy to the knowledge of the existence of Exoplanet.

Luhan, military spy and one of the few survivors from the catastrophic defeat and slaughter at the hands of the Red Eyes.  Becomes Kris' unofficial advisor and is rumoured to have telekinetic skills.

Tao: somebody everybody has heard of and nobody has ever met, with the possible exception of Kris.  Thought to be dabbling in the illegal magical art of time control.

There are cameos from other K-pop stars too.  I will list them as they come up.  So far, we have:
