“What’s up?” Dara asked sitting on the bench beside CL. 

CL remained silent and just stared at the view in front of them. 

Ooookkkaaayyyy…. Looks like trouble in paradise…. Dara thought. Chaerin is often a misunderstood woman. People see her as a strong, fierce, independent woman. In reality she’s just an ordinary lady missing out a lot of things and trying to be the leader people expect her to be. 

“I think we broke up.” CL broke her silence and dropped the bomb at Dara who on her part is now clueless on what to say. 

“You think?!?!?!” Dara confirmed if she heard it right. How can you think that you broke up?!? 

“We both agreed to give each other some time away from each other. So that we won’t be any burden with each other’s busy schedule.” CL explained not moving her gaze from the view in front of her. 

Dara hugged CL. “Chaerin….” The truth is she doesn’t know what to say.  Obviously she’s not ok so she can’t ask her that. 

CL sighed. “I’m ok.”

“Ok?” Dara did not believe what she just heard. She may not know a lot about relationships and boys but she knows CL. She spent practically half her adult life with her inside the four corners of their dorm, studio or their practice room enough to know that this was not an okay look.

“Well it was more of a mutual decision.” CL assured her. “I actually thought of the idea. He kind of just agreed to it.”

“YOU.DID.WHAT?!?!” Dara couldn’t believe what she just heard.

“Don’t overreact Unnie.” Chaerin said sighing. “I... I... I...”
