Shim Changmin has a simple wish, and that is to forget Summer. With this in mind, he hires an obscure firm claiming to be able to eradicate all memories of a certain person and let you live anew with the bliss of oblivion. 

 

Is it possible to completely erase someone from your life and from your mind?

Hello dear readers, this is Mayi aka firemoth_007 speaking. In this piece of fanfiction, I drew great inspiration from some movies [mentioned above is the greatest evidence, where I borrowed the concept of targeted memory erasure and the fictional firm Lacuna Inc from the movie of Kaufman and Gondry but I also took into consideration 500 days of Summer and My Sassy Girl]. I also drew inspiration from certain songs for some chapters, my favorites being Adele and ALi's songs. But I have to thank my own unusuccesful/nonexistent love life for most of the feelings that will ever be evoked from this little piece of fiction.
 
You might say that this story has no cohesive plot, or too confusing if there is any and you are partly right. This will be written in Changmin's point of view, in the form of an interview/therapy, alternating with plain exposition that reveals some vague chronology but that's all part of it. As you would deduce from the so called plot, Changmin and Sooyoung are already over before the actual story started and this is a conversation of him and a certain person to purge him from all those memories. It was a little tricky to plot out the chapters but I'm glad to say that I have sorted it out and by the end of this story hopefully, you will understand it fully.

Can you tell us about your relationship with Summer?

 

I hate her. God, how I hate her. At some point, I thought that we were lovers. But mostly everything is very vague. I don't even know if we're even friends. I knew nothing about her. We were strangers. I don’t even know where the hell she came from. The most personal thing I know about her is that she has a pet cat named Yoseob… who is an irritating little er by the way. And… and that she sleep talks. God, she even falls asleep on midday without warning. Other than that, I absolutely knew nothing about her. Which makes no sense… coz I'm here… to forget about her

Chapter 23: I came by this story while I was browsing 'kyuyoung' fics. I haven't watched the movie this story was based of but I will definitely find time to see it. I hope I won't be a sobbing like a kid after :)

Some het! stories don't really capture my interest. This story is beautiful. Good job :)

Chapter 24: finally i've got some time to get this story done LoL but seriously.. poor Vic~ no matter what Min will always find his way back to Soo :') and Soo is also the same as him but tbh when i 1st started reading this before i've thought i've got to prepare myself for some heartbreaking moments but they turned out well.. at least for both our ChangSoo are ^^v although i've still had some quests in mind but nevermind.. i love this <3 thank you for the story
