Yiruma - Time Forgets

By the time Minyoung arrived back home, it had darkened outside. It only meant one thing for this little girl, it was her time to go to bed and get her sleep. After bidding goodbye to her grandmother she tiptoed inside her house seeing her mother passed out on the sofa. Her glass was resting in her hand while her head was ducked. Minyoung gave her mother a long stare before walking up to her grabbing the glass placing it on the coffee table, just in case her mother moved and the liquid would stain their carpet.

Minyoung would always tuck herself in and tell herself everything would turn for the better next day, because usually the mother would do that to their child. But since her mother had already fallen asleep like any other time, she didn`t have any other choice than do it herself. But this night would be a little different; she was finally going to reach out for a person she wished would turn out to be her long lasting friend.

She grabbed a couple of blank sheets and a pencil. She walked over to the kitchen reaching out for her favorite candy bar lying on the kitchen counter, the moment she grabbed it, she ran over to her room just in case her mother woke up and asked her what she needed those items for, at this time of the hour. She climbed on her bed bringing her flashlight with her. She threw the blanket over her head, acting like she was in her fantasy tent. She let out a giggle, but soon found her composure lying out the sheets on the bed, grabbing her pencil and lying the flashlight so it would light up the sheets so she could see what she was about to write.
