"I am sorry, Luhan. I can't go on with you anymore,"

That was the last thing his now ex-boyfriend said to him before the other disappeared out of his sight. Luhan didn't understand what brought the other to come to such a decision and it hurt him. It hurt him deeply and Luhan could only conclude that he wasn't good enough for the other. The blow had came too unexpected.

He then decided to never let his guard down again and protect his fragile heart from every breathing species walking on two legs. And he had managed to do that for almost ten years now, until one day he happened to smack face first into a hard yet soft chest belonging to a tall lanky blonde on his way inside his best friend's coffeeshop.

His breath was taken away instantly and the thick walls he had built around his beating heart, crumbled right then and there. The lad had simply managed to capture his heart without him knowing.

And Luhan knew he fell in love again. 

But being the stubborn person that he was, he had decided to love and admire from afar, just so he wouldn't have to experience the same pain from years ago, all over again. He knew he was never going to be able to recover if something similar should happen to this new found love.

However, his best friend thought otherwise. His best friend knew these two were a match made in heaven and he decided to take matter into his own hands for the sake of his best friend.
