My heart that is about to burst falls silent

I'm so peaceful that I don't care if I stop breathing.

"So, Minseok sunbae, what do you like to do?" 

A young woman spoke to a man sitting in front of her with a seductive voice, as she crossed her leg, slightly revealing her smooth leg. The man, or Minseok, in the other hand seemed careless with this girl as he was boredly looking at the woman with a blank expression. The girl gave him a flirtious wink, but the man kept his poker face on.

"Nothing." Minseok spoke indifferently.

The girl seemed to be startle at his cold behavior, but she remained calm. "There should be something that you're interested in."

Minseok didn't say anything and just stared at the woman's leg, and she smirked.

"Oh, I see what you like." The woman spoke and leaned closer to the man. "If you want, we can go to my house and spend a night there."

Minseok then glanced back at the woman with a beautiful smile, and the woman smiled back.

"No, it's just that you might want to take a shower at your place first." 

"Oh? So, you want to take a shower with me?"

Minseok smiled again and searched through his bag for something. He then took out a business card and placed it on the table in front of her, and the woman took the card to take a look at it.

"You might want to check this place out, it's very cheap and they have free waxing."

The girl read it and gaped in a disbelief.

"Then it was nice meeting you." Minseok bowed. "I hope we never see each other again."

"Yah Kim Minseok, you bastard!" The woman screamed behind him.

Minseok only grinned and left the cafe, without turning around to look at her. 

Once he was out from the cafe, he went to the lot where he parked his car. He climbed inside his car and threw the briefcase next to him and started untying his tie.

"Luhan, you bastard!" Minseok gritted his teeth and stepped on the pedal.

Kim Minseok is a student who is majoring in mathematics in a university. Ever since his girlfriend died few years ago, Minseok couldn't forget about her, but his friends are constantly trying to find another girl for her. His friends would purposely set him up in a blind date with girls from other school, but it never works for Minseok, as his head is only occupied with his deceased girlfriend. The accident happened so suddenly that Minseok was shocked at her death, but he is trying to forget her, but it seems like it never works for him. That is why he would turned down all the girls who confess to her because he knew that all those girls want to be with him because of his good looks and family background. Minseok's family are not that rich or poort, but it's enough for him to attend university. 

Minseok kept cursing at Luhan, his dormmate/ best friend who once again tricked him by setting him up in another blind date. So, in anger, Minseok dialed his friend's number to yell at him, and in few clicks, the voice was heard from the other line.

"Yo, Minseok,  wh-"

"Luhan! What in the world do you think you're doing?" Minseok yelled at the phone. "I thought I told you many times that I'm not interested in blind dates!"

"Hey, Xiumin, calm down, will you?" Luhan said from the other side. "I'm going to lose my hearing because of you."

"Why did you do such a stupid thing? You know that it's never going to work!"

"Chill bro, I just wanted to help you."

"Help me?" Minseok said in disbelief. "Your plan is not helping at all! The thing will never change, and the only girl that I'm interested in is Taeyeon, got that?"

There was silence, but a sigh was heard. "Kim Minseok, you have to wake up! Taeyeon already died, she's no longer here, you have to face the reality."

"I am facing the reality, and I know that she is still alive!"

"Stop, you !" Luhan shouted and Minseok startled at his friend's anger. "We already saw the body, and it was Taeyeon, don't you remember? We checked many times, and it was confirmed that the body was Taeyeon's don't you get it?"

"I-" Minseok was speechless.

"All I want was to help you..." Luhan said with a frustrated sigh. "I don't want to see you in pain anymore."

"I-"

Minseok couldn't finish his word when he spotted a certain woman from his car. It was a petite woman with a pale skin and beautiful shoulder-length brown hair. She was wearing a white spring dress and a comfortable flats, and there was an earphone in her ears. 

Minseok really wanted to see her face, but she was looking at the other way, so he couldn't take a close look into the woman's apperance. But he felt this strange aura from her that she might be the one for him. Minseok was focused on looking at her that he didn't notice the light switching from red to green. 

"Minseok, are you still there?" Luhan said from the other line, but Minseok couldn't hear the boy.

Suddenly, the car from the back started honking violently, and that is when Minseok came back to reality. There were some people shouting at him from the back with their windows opened. 

"Ah, I'm sorry, sorry!" Minseok apologized to them as he bowed his head multiple time.

"Minseok, what's going on?" Luhan asked.

"It's nothing." Minseok said. "I'll talk to you later, bye." 

Minseok hung up then started heading back toward the dorm, not forgetting the image of the petite girl from the street.

It has been a week after Minseok encountered the mysterious young woman from the street, and for some reason, he couldn't stop thinking about her. He never felt this way before, but Minseok really wanted to see that beautiful girl again. 

Minseok was sitting in a letcure hall for his class. He would usually pay attention, but today, none of those math theories were entering inside his brain, as he was busy thinking about that girl from last week. He heaved a sigh and looked to the side to see Luhan sleeping with his head buried inside an opened math textbook. The pretty boy was sleeping with his mouth hanging open, and drooling all over the book. Minseok look at his friend in disgust, and thought that it will be a shocking to the entire school if they notice that Luhan, the pretty athletic boy is not that attractive when he's sleeping, and that will surely damage his personality.
