Falling Star
Description
Byeol a bookworm and only child to a young single mother that doesn't give her much affection. Byeol is use to keeping herself occupied by reading, she cooks and cleans the apartment and rarely sees her mother who is constantly out with friends or on dates.
Gina and Soobin are Byeol's only friends; sometimes she feels left out of the conversation but Byeol is always grateful they sit with her she hates to be alone. The three travel together on the city bus to school and they are curious but at the same time afraid of the young man always dressed in dark clothing sitting alone in the back with headphones one always staring afar.
One day she is on a school trip and is involved in a minor accident... so she thinks. When she wakes up in the hospital things are just not the same.
Foreword
"There he is again," the girl with her school uniform whispering to her friends as they sit in front of the city bus, "he looks so pale, I wonder if he's real."
They all began to giggle, looking towards the young man in the back sitting by himself staring off to nothing.
"Shhhh..." the other girl said, "I heard he's a ghost that is looking for his girlfriend that died in a bus accident last year. My friend Eunmi went to school with a girl that use to go to his school. He was on a school field trip, after he confessed his love to his girlfriend the bus skidded off the road and into the water. Now..." the three girls looked at him again, "...he's searching for his girlfriend."
"Whaaaa..." Byeol's eyes got so big, she knew it couldn't be true but to say that a loud, she was afraid to hurt his feelings. She grabbed her book she was reading and shoved it in her face hoping he wouldn't notice her.
