In a remote area, there is a land called Tenohra. A land that has long been guarded by the Wolves of Tenohra. This redoubtable pack is mainly composed of women, which earned them their famous nickname : The Amazons. They are led by Inyô, the female Alpha who is respected by all.
But this pack has a peculiarity. They are known for their hybrid progenies. Half-human, half-wolf, until they reach the age of 18. The age where they must complete their transformation thanks to the Alpha’s Bite.
In this time of winter, the ground is completely covered with white.
Winter.
The Wolves of Tenohra always dread this period. The temperatures are harsh and food reserves become scarce. Winter is always a time of rivalry and tension with other packs.
Unlike her family, Misae has always loved this season. She could admire the fluffy particles covering the entire land of a beautiful, white coat for hours.
As the Alpha's daughter, she is destined to become the next Leader thanks to what every pack calls ‘The Assignment’, a Ceremony during which the Heir Alpha’s transformation is completed. Then, the Heir is officially proclaimed as the New Alpha.
However, a day before the Ceremony, her clan is assaulted by an enemy pack. She manages to escape. Until proven otherwise, she is the only survivor, left to her own devices as she has yet to deal with her pursuers. Alone. Until someone finds her.
How will she bear the possibility of being a packless Alpha?
How will she find the strength to trust again?
Will snow be sufficient to cover the young girl’s sorrow and thirst for revenge ?
