어머니 없어 (Mother is Gone)
Description
Hi guys, this is a special one-shot idea i had for Mother's Day.
I promise this will be done by Mother's Day haha. (my prev valentine's day idea went down the drain)
I'm actively writing again, after my unplanned hiatus for like 4-5 months cos i was dealing with personal issues.
I hope this will be good too. It may or may not be linked to my main Youngdo fic (Black Leather), i haven't decided yet.
Do look forward to it! I have included a preview of what's to come. ^^
Foreword
"Eomma? I want to have that ice cream."
"No son, we have to wait for your father." She smiled kindly at the little boy and refused him gently.
"But i want~ please get one cone for me please eomma! I swear i will be a good boy and study hard!" The little boy pouted and stomped the ground. It had been so long since his mother bought him something he liked.
"Well.. alright i guess we can get you one since your father said he will take a while. Wait here and don't go away. Eomma will be right back." Patting the now beaming boy on the head, she crossed the road quickly and headed towards the ice cream truck a few blocks away. She looked back once, at the little boy, who was distracted by a clown giving out balloons. As she watched, the clown handed the boy a balloon, and the boy's back was turned.
"Sorry Youngdo. Eomma is really sorry." The whisper containing her farewell was drowned out by the sounds of the traffic and the ringing of the ice cream truck bells.
