The Choi Minho works as a soldier in military. He is a soldier of conviction and likes his job. He is 25 years old and engaged to his best friend Seo Ju-hyeon (better known by her nickname Seohyun) . Actually, he is content with his life, but one day something happens that brings him to consider whether the life really that's what he wants to live. He meets one day, the reporter Kim Min Hee. She is 20 years old and hopes one day to be a famous reporter for the successful Korean television channel. She is unlike any women whom he met in his life. She is always happy, has not afraid of anything, adventurous, sometimes childish, quick-witted & charismatic.

Through her, he learns to love every moment, not to take himself always too seriously, live the moment and not to think about the future. But he does not realize that he has fallen in love with her. Min Hee knows of her feelings but she does not believe in love and therefore told him nothing about their feelings. On his wedding day Minho realizes that he loves Min Hee and cancels the wedding. Initially, Seohyun is hurt and wants nothing to do with him, but she realizes that Minho never really belonged to her, because he did not really love her. So they decide to remain friends. Minho thinks constantly of Min Hee, but does not think ever to see her again.

2 years later, Seohyun fell in love with a colleagues named Choi Siwon and they celebrate their engagement. Her fiancee would introduce her his sister and Minho is surprised when he sees the nurse: It is Min Hee. Min Hee dissociates from Minho, because she thinks that he is married. Minho does not dare confess his love to Min Hee because she is younger than him and he knows that she does not believe in the love and loves him not anyway. Seohyun and Siwon see that the two feel much for each other and decide to help the two because of their love and bring them together.
